Wests Tigers Jersey's 2019..

Just an opinion before you all jump on me - I think both are horrid.

Wouldn't have one if you gave it to me for nothing. That statement is a fact.

Drum roll Geo, Ink …...

Gallagher, what did I say that implies I have my knickers in a knot? In fact I actually said that as an ex balmain fan, IM NOT FUSSED about it. "Not fussed" equals knickers in a knot?

On the other hand you are of the opinion that the reason that Tigers do not use orange jerseys is because Wests pay the bills. Seems INCREDIBLY petty and counter productive, but I can definitely see how you came to that conclusion.

If a team started today with no Balmain Tigers or Wests Magpies having ever existed and they called themselves WestsTigers.
What do you think their colours would be?

Well I didnt say that, but since we are discussing it. Can you give me a reason that the Tigers stopped having an orange jersey? At exactly the same time that Ashfield became dominant?

Is it because Orange is so overdone with all the other clubs? Is it because we dont want to stand out from other teams?

Seriously interested in your opinion.

It seems to be thats what youre inferring….but when asked to provide something to back up your theory ....you cannot provide any ''facts'

Ink, you now say I was "inferring?" Not an opinion? I merely stated facts and only facts. Its up to other people to decide why the Tigers stopped using orange jerseys at exactly the same time that Wests became dominant on the board. For example, Gallegher thinks that the reason that the Tigers no longer uses Orange Jerseys is because Wests now pay the bills. That seems an incredibly petty reason to do so, but I can DEFINITELY see how he comes to that conclusion. Do you have a suggestion? Orange too common?

When you answer this question …

Why we cant embrace our most distinct colour of orange more, I will never know.

Because gold (orange) wasn’t a Wests Colour and Ashfield are paying the bills. Sad fact of life

...it tells me youve decided its the reason WTs stopped using orange mainly and you tell people its a fact...when its clear its not.
You may be right, you may be wrong...I dont think its a fact, you havent provided me with anything to suggest it is

Its been a bloody hot day, im tired and im done with this

Peace Glenn

Hopefully in 50 years its not a black and white jersey with some orange stitching

Good chance. the phasing out the orange has coincided with the voting rights Wests Ashfield has gained. I guess they are paying the bills so phasing out the orange is their prerogative.

Wests are paying the bills is a fact, that orange is a horrid colour is your opinion. See how it works?

So the reason there is no orange jersey has nothing to do with wests paying the bills. Your first post said the exact opposite.

Ink said it wasn't worth having a conversation with you. Another fact.

Correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that the edict from the NRL is that the away jersey is to be predominantly white…...or maybe Wests Ashfield paid the NRL to make that directive too.

It wasn’t until I saw Ryan James that I realised that was the Titans… at first glance I assumed that was the storm’s new jersey

Wouldn't have minded our jersey to have been black with an actual gold V to commemorate 20 years. It wouldve looked great. Not "yellow gold" but metallic gold.

Here is a fact, Balmain is close to extinct.
West’s is our primary share holder and the colours that represent them are black and white.
The tiger is the mascot the moniker, the colour of the tiger is black and orange.
How many blue, red and white roosters or cardinal and green rabbits or maroon and yellow horses do you see around?

Wests is the establishment get used to it. Black and white through out the organisation the tiger logo brings a bit of orange colour into the piece. It’s was also reflected in the ISP last year with the orange logos. It’s not a show of power it’s just a statement that says we are Wests.
