Nofoaluma moves back to his preferred position? He must be impressing people at the club. I pity the Roosters this week. Tigers back to full strength with Sirro and Groat coming back and off a disappointing road loss… They'll rack up a cricket score.

We had a draw against the roosters in the 1st round and they have now won four-straight Toyota Cup games.

Won't be that easy this week… hope the forwards roll up their sleeves and put in a better effort than they did against the cowboys last week.

Wests Tigers have confirmed that the game has been moved to Campbelltown due to the amount of rain that has fallen at Leichhardt.

U20S GAME MOVED TO CAMPBELLTOWN STADIUM
22/07/2011 12:39:44 PM
Wests Tigers wish to advise supporters the U20s clash against the Sydney Roosters set down for Leichhardt Oval on Saturday has been moved to Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
>
The match was scheduled to be played at Leichhardt Oval at 5.15pm but the game has been moved due to the heavy rain that has hit Sydney.
>
The NRL match against the Sydney Roosters is still scheduled to be played at Leichhardt Oval at 7.30pm. Gates will now open at 5.15pm. More details will be provided soon.
>
The U20s match at Campbelltown Sports Stadium will kick off at 1pm and will be followed by the NSW Cup match between Western Suburbs Magpies and Central Coast at 3pm.
>
Wests Tigers sit in sixth place on the U20s ladder on 24 points, 3 points clear of ninth placed Sydney Roosters.

wtf this side got iced by cowboys last week now getting smashed by the chooks 18 -4 on the slide big time :frowning:

Lol the Roosters have completed 25/28 and the Tigers 12/22… No wonder it's currently 24-4\. If they pull this out of the fire, it'd be the most undeserved victory of all time.

I think Miller must have gone off injured. Sironen is taking the shots at goal and Miller's stats have stopped going up. In saying that the Tigers just scored and now it's 24-10 with 19 minutes to go.

Also Begovich, Koroibete and Jesse Sue aren't playing. Patrick Politoni, Junior Roqica and Faleula Finau are.

Some of these players just don't have the football brain to play at this level.

Tim Simona is the first person I would drop..very selfish play not to pass the ball to the unmarked winger.
Terrible under the high ball..How did this bloke play NRL ?

David Nofoaluma takes the kickoff after we just scored close to the dead ball line hasn't got the brains to put his foot on the dead ball line before catching the ball = penalty on half way…NO he takes the ball then puts his foot on the dead ball line = Goaline dropout.

Faleula Finau dropped the ball 5 times all early in the tackle count. Also picked up the ball at dummy half and put his foot into touch. They would have been better off playing with 12 and just taking this guy off.

Kyle Lovett and Shaun Spence same sorts of players can't have them both in the team.

Curtis Sironen gave away some stupid penalties...Just play football.

Junior Roqica seriously son..what has happened to you ?

Joel Luani and Ben Saunders not good enough for this level.

We missed Koroibete and Begovich

Miller tried hard...Tedesco was outstanding as usual set up the first try scored the second try and ran for most metres from both teams...Groat played well....the rest need a good talking to at the very least.

If the Tigers are missing that many troops and are completing just over 50% of their sets then its no wonder their getting pumped.

ROOSTERS BEAT WESTS TIGERS 30-10 IN U20s
By Wayne Cousins

Wests Tigers turned in a very disappointing performance in losing 30-10 to Sydney Roosters at Campbelltown Sports Stadium today in the U20s competition.

The match was played in perfect weather conditions in front of a small crowd with the playing surface in superb order after the game was shifted from a wet Leichhardt Oval.

The loss leaves Wests Tigers in sixth place on 24 points. The win moved the Roosters to seventh place on 23 points.

Wests Tigers lost winger Marika Koroibete, prop Neil Begovich and lock Jesse Sue before the game through injury.

Wests Tigers opened the scoring in the fifth minute when centre David Nofoaluma scored in the right corner after good work by full-back James Tedesco. Half-back Jacob Miller failed to convert from the sideline for a 4-0 lead.

Centre Tim Simona bombed a certain try in the 10th minute after he dropped the ball over the line in trying to score. Winger Faleula Finau was unmarked on his outside and would have scored for sure. The play came after good work by Miller and five-eighth Curtis Sironen.

The Roosters drew level in the 17th minute when winger Usaia O'Sullivan dived over in the right corner after the ball. Winger Chris Taripo failed to convert the try.

Four minutes later, the Roosters went to an 8-4 lead when centre Tautau Moga dived over in the left corner. Taripo failed to convert from the sideline.

A grubber kick on the last tackle by Roosters half-back Ryley Jacks saw the ball hit the posts to allow him to dive on to score, leaving Tedesco no hope. Taripo converted for a 14-4 lead after 34 minutes.

The Roosters were denied a try a minute later to Brandon Tago after the referee ruled a forward pass from dummy half.

The visitors were not to be denied a minute later when second-rower Ethan Lowe ran through the attempted tackle of Sironen to score in the 39th minute. Taripo failed to convert the try to give the Roosters an 18-4 lead at half-time.

2nd Half
The Roosters stretched their lead to 22-4 in the 52nd minute when Jacks put up a crossfield kick for centre Curtis Rona to leap high to score. Taripo converted the try for a 24-4 lead after 54 minutes.

A Miller bomb was allowed to bounce in the 59th minute by the Roosters, resulting in Tedesco picking it up to score under the posts. Sironen converted the try to leave Wests Tigers trailing 24-10.

Nofoaluma looked set to score in the 70th minute but lost the ball in a three man tackle in trying to ground it over the line.

Sironen was placed on report in the 72nd minute for using an elbow.

Wests Tigers had a tryscoring opportunity in the 74th minute but Simona went to ground for the second time with the ball with a try on.

A crossfield kick by the Roosters saw Nofoaluma drop the ball in-goal for Lowe to score his second try. Taripo converted the try for a 30-10 scoreline after 77 minutes.
