Ahhh what a fitting way to send some of our players off.

By keeping them in the team, blocking our youngsters from having a chance and playing Morris in halves one last time just to realise how much we wont miss him (with respect to Johnny we all know and probably him as well that he isnt a 7).

Funny isnt it, our season wasnt on the line so Morris plays in the halves, our season is on the line and he plays Lui there, our season is over and he drops Lui.

WHAT THE HELL??????

Moltzen to Half
Hanbury to FB
Collis to the wing
Halatau to the centres
Morris to the bench

Same players, much much better line up.
 
Look at the positives here….at least this game won't determine whether we make the finals or not....imagine that, it came down to this game and Sheens throws Morris back into the #7!!! ....:brick:

I can just imagine his reasoning...... Morris > Kimmorley. Thankfully he's not playing :laughing:
 
not a bad side but my bench would look more like this

14.Schirnack
15.Gower
16.Mataka
17.Akeripa

and i would take out morris and collis and put in pritchard and move hanbury to fullback moltzen to 1/2

the forward pack is fine and i hope it stay that way next year cause they have all been impresssive this year

Of course it's not up to us…...It's up to Sheens

Geez...fit to play :laughing: ...What about he picks players that are up to playing or even keen to bleed for the jumper even if they don't have as much talent or potential.....

I'm a supporter of Sheens to an extent but this is a kick in the guts to supporters .....

Morris at 7.....christ put Farah there at least it might take some pressure of him in defence

Halatau and Collis should be nowhere near first grade the form they have showed for the past 2 years.......There are blokes who would bust a gut to play...Put Dwyer in the centres if you don't want to use Pritchard...

It's not good enough.....

I totally agree, but the simple thing is we won't be able to make the coach see this, or have any influence to make it happen. when has a coahc ever listended to the teams supporters. never
yes it frustrates the hell out of me, and I know its not good enough, I actually think it stinks ( did want to put in stronger language, but not worth getting banned, :laughing: )

Please people. Don't take your frustrations out on Johnny Morris as i believe he has done an outstanding job in recent weeks as the team's utility when Sheens took him out of the number 7 and into his rightful role.

But there is another thing i can see happening here. Maybe Sheens is giving Johnny one last chance to prove he can be in the running for selection as Sheens' Australian halfback at the end of the year, and really show us nuffies that he was RIGHT in saying several years ago that John Morris will be the next Cooper Cronk. What bigger stage could he set this up but against a team who could be this year's Minor Premiers?

I just find it very strange that the last few weeks when the team NEEDED Morris on the field, Sheens persisted to leave him on the bench to pick splinters out of his backside, and this week back into the most crucial jersey with weeks out of it.

But i am very confident WT will win by plenty this week regardless of the team selections. The boys WILL do it for Halatau!!

I called this three days ago.

This side is a slap in the face to all the fans.

I've made up my mind, I want Sheens gone. I was willing to give him one more year (albeit begrudgingly) but this is a sick joke.
