Can't say Ive ever noticed him play so cant really have a crack at us signing him. Lets hope he has the goods.

He is decent, forced a Burgess brother to the bench and was tipped to be a regular (after almost being punted when young for being lazy)

Hard to tell though as he had one pretty good season / one pretty ordinary one followed it...and then missed last year.

If we get the bloke who often went for 120 a game and forced a Burgess to the bench, we have got ourselves (finally) a go forward prop.

If we get the bloke who was average the year after (not sure why, but his form dipped a lot)...then we have got another plodder.

Not sure why his form dipped after his breakout season. Maybe the Bunnies members on here can elaborate a bit more?

They would have been better just saying he made mistakes, acknowledges them and wants a second chance.

This is crap . He kissed a girl he was with in a far more closer way , a week before. He was drunk and totally misread the situation .
That could and probably has happened to any of us .
Consent laws are hectic nowadays. I would hate to be a young male , not out to do wrong , just making the mistake of counting your chickens . He shouldn’t have touched her , but man , that’s a tough one .

100% mate, don’t know how some of these dinosaurs, tried to get on to women and before the outcry, she did not say no, did not slap his face, did not knee him in the gonads etc, I am against violence full stop and particularly toward women, but he misjudged the situation, could have been any of us, he is not a criminal, just made a mistake

I accept that some of our supporters will be uncomfortable with this signing and I can understand their point of view. I'm not at all uncomfortable about it,
This guy has been through the justice system and it has determined the penalty for the offence. I don't think it is the position of any employer to then decide to double down on that and exact further punishment by way of denying a person the right to earn a living at his chosen profession.
the NRL and clubs certainly have the right to protect their brands, but unless the offence is of such a significant nature to result in brand damage, I don't feel that they have a role to play.
The sentence from the court would seem to indicate that this offence was at the lower end of scale.
He's still a relatively young man. I hope he's learned a lesson, conducts himself appropriately from here on and plays some awesome football for us.

Not the thread, but, a certain Donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon and his family defrauded a charity for personal benefit and seemingly most of his supporters don't care. Even worse, he holds back funds that no doubt resulted in deaths of (teammates) allies and they still keep him as their leader.

I hope that Simona makes a go of his career if given the chance.

Plenty being said about the morals of Zane Musgrove, but the reality is he's an NRL player. He's one of many that have been on the wrong side of the law. If you're looking to him as a role model or for moral guidance then you're looking in the wrong place.
His job is just to play footy as best he can. And if he can deliver on that for us then I'm happy .

When guys like Lodge and Tetevano are running around and Lui can still get a contract in England the truth is that if we don't sign players like this someone else will anyway.

I don't condone what he did but in my opinion he has served his time. I will judge him on how he conducts himself in the future.
