do love Tommy though just think the black armbands and a tribute would have been good no need to play in magpie strip that's all

I’m a little surprised that we have been playing both Lurch and Garner for 80mins.

Game speed feels higher this season. I wonder if Lurch has the motor to play 80 without compromising his ball running impact.

Anyone else have insight on this?

Yeah good point. Considering Blore will need to come back via reserve grade Lurch may be playing 80 for some time yet.

Yeah good point. Considering Blore will need to come back via reserve grade Lurch may be playing 80 for some time yet.

I think most sensible people are over the Wests vs Tigers bias, and are fully behind the Wests Tigers merger. Both teams have a glorious history, and it should be appreciated. You should never forget your history, or live in it, there is room for both.

Couldn’t agree more...I come from a Balmain family but I will always look up to tommy and will always love my west’s brothers and sisters....it’s called honour, we are one team untied and we must show respect when one of our greats has passed

Blocker gets a bad wrap because he's not exactly a master orator, but I genuinely enjoy his takes on the game and the energy he brings to the commentary box. There are plenty worse than him (including paid 'journalists') at least he knows who is playing for WTs week in/week out...
