Shame Munster didn't get a week.
Who's going to make brenko an immortal this week? Jet or talau?

Not playing Mate!

Yeah I corrected myself a couple of posts later. I saw in an article he was due back

Good to see JTJ at centre, but what does that mean when Doueihi is back, personally I hope that would mean TT drops out, too many errors and poor options for me.
We generally go alright against Melbourne for some reason, here is hoping it continues, and Ken gets another hatrick against the storm this year

Expected Jimmy to be on the left to start the season until those that had been watching pre-season training and photos confirmed he was on the right side.

Hoping my early thoughts of him playing in more space on the left are confirmed on Saturday evening.

I just hope we see

Mbye give JTJ some early ball, I just want to see him get a sniff of space.

Our forwards need to hit hard and drive hard by running onto the ball not being flat and getting hit 3mtrs off the ball.

Seyfarth no silly hold downs or rolls
Lid’s no mistakes in attacking positions
Tamou actually perform as a forward and hit the ball up

Laurie run off Seyfarths hip, he has an offload and this would be a cracker of the game to use it

Bomb to Ken’s wing

Seriously, there are 3 players in the cup side (and they are not great) who would make TT look ordinary., It's beyond me.why they percervere,.

It's beyond me why we didn't do the sway for JAC :face_palm:
I would of drove him to the airport to assist the process

Bumpbah

Try again Madge

Still whinging ?

Who would you have picked ?

Agreed. Not much else he can do. We really need a couple of good centres but other than that it isn't a bad side at all.

For sure ..
I would’ve gone Tuilagi instead of Amone .

We already over Amone, novelty's worn off ?

What do you mean WE?

Or are you speaking as a Royalist?

I'm not over him for one, I think he deserves a chance, hasn't had that yet.

Looking forward to seeing Ken M play and hope he kills it.
I see Mbye is back but does anyone know if he is 100% playing or a fingers crossed situation. I think he is a must for our team and as the game is up Brisbane I would expect him to put in a good performance. And to think we wanted him gone 6 weeks ago but after seeing Walters performance he looks like an immortal.

If our forwards don’t get some metres and get across the ad line we will get hammered. They really need to step up and run harder. Missing Mikaele at the moment with Tamou and Twal just easy meat. Also more line speed and aggression in D.
Keep it simple lads- it would make me happy if they’d just “run hard and tackle hard”.

Which side he plays on might be an indicator of what is to come, if he plays right, he is just replacing Doueihi, if he plays left it might be TT is only saved this week because of the Doueihi injury.
His preference would be right side, that is where he played the majority of his career, but he would be just happy to be back in his natural position, lets hope he gets some early ball

**NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer Round 2021
Media Release**

The annual Beanie For Brain Cancer Round will kick-off on Thursday night, with National Rugby League (NRL) clubs, players and fans uniting to raise money for brain cancer research.

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) hopes to raise $3 million during this year’s Beanie for Brain Cancer Round, which will see 272 players, 16 Clubs, thousands of fans and broadcasters Channel Nine and Fox Sports unite.

Beanie for Brain Cancer Round is one of our most important rounds – a time when the game gets together for a vital cause,’’ Mr Abdo said. “Every year our supporters, players and clubs respond with powerful generosity.

This round is not just about the on-field outcomes – it’s an incredible show of support from all those involved in the game to raise funds for brain cancer research, a disease that kills more children under 10 and adults under 40 than any other disease

I'm hearing Pauga is a strong chance of debuting this week, TT in doubt

interesting, but won't get a complaint out of me. makes plenty of metres and has a great attitude in both attack and defence. I reckon he could even keep Talau out of the side if given a chance.

If he plays left his defence issues are mitigated by brooks . As are all “attacking centres” like BJ and the like . I think Mau will have his opportunities on the left also . I watched Pauga in a few games this year , and he’s definitely a safer option . Also had some spark in attack .

I think the best thing for WT and Talau is to give him time in KOE cup until needed.

Long over due, he is one of the players that Madge doesn't apply accountability too
