@WT2K Rowdy surely would he looking at retirement.. great club man would be an invaluable member of our club in an administrative roll . Even though the long serving bonus is attractive I think his spot could be used more effectively.

Eisenhuth a regular starter not in 17 the more significant omission than ET who has struggled to get selected. I thought ET had been going alright too off the bench - adds a bit of energy.

@Snake I have to agree. Those spare CAP positions will be like previous hens' teeth nest season and could well be filled by promising up and comers not necessarily from the 2019 Tigers list.

@boonboon was just about to inform you of this as well mate, it’s quite possible with some sneaky accounting we see Benji, Mats or somebody like young Heleta who was brought through in the golden years and as a young player then who’s consistently played since, only with us, he or possibly some others from CC could also take it up. Rowdy might get the chance to leave on his own terms

Who ?

Everyone here has actually been misquoting the long serving player allowance, it is actually called the Veterans and Developed Players Allowance and is for any player who has been in the top 30 at our club for 8 years or at any club for 10 years or players we developed prior to becoming 1st grade players.

So we have at least Chris, Robbie, Matulino, and possibly Luke Brooks and any other players we developed. Benji may even qualify as it doesn't state if the 10 years has to be consecutive years.
