WESTS Tigers Team V Parramatta

I don't get the hate for buchanin. No one here sees what's happens in training etc like JT does. How can you say chee kam is better for the bench based on what you've seen last year and in trials.

Not confident looking at this side. Buchanan offers 5% of buggerall off the bench and Lovett and Halatau starting…please, Parra will be laughing on Monday lining up against that backrow. We really needed Chee-Kam in there as he has a lot more presence than either player and also offers good speed and mobility in attack.

I'm not a happy camper but I'm not surprised either….when will we ever have a full strength team. Having said that we could win this game, parra going for 3 straight ?????? Everyone will have to play to their best tho, especially Lovett and Buchanan.

Mate, he (MCK) might still be able to offer more than JACK can
Dont misunderstand majority of us, we dont hate Buch, we call it as we see it
He doesnt offer much when he plays except for taking up one of the jerseys and filling a spot

If he puts a mamoth performance we will sing his praise but in the meantime we will call what we see and its not much sadly

JT has not changed at all from last years keeps picking the same crap players, hate to say it but parra by 30 on the back of that forward pack and replacments.

x 2\. Go well boys!

Given Halatau has played dummy half the last 2 games, we are effectively carrying 3 hookers. Mck should be the starting 2nd rower,Halatau on the bench playing hooker and back row. Ava & Aloiai as tight forwards and Edwards, Cassell or Griffin as the 4th bench player. People talking about Taylor's faith in Buchanan must have missed the fact that he did not play a minute in round one.

I do not understand Taylor's logic with some of these selections after only three rounds fringe and borderline players with a proven record of no impact are being selected weekly . There certainly seems to be some likely talent in the reserve grade side ..the game this week would of been the idea opportunity for a couple to be thrown in .

Very little of impact on the bench and less in the back row…it will get ugly unless the kids play out of their skins

One loss and doom brigade are out and about big time. I take it if we happen to win this game the doubters will do a 180 in regards of certain players/coach etc? Until the next loss or mistake?
If they play as a team, minimise mistakes, get a decent bounce of course they are good chance, they can beat any team on their day

We can win this game. Then again I think we can win every game. We have plenty of points in us. We just need to execute well.

Picking Buchanan again? Are you friggin kidding me?
It would be 1000000% more beneficial to blood others than persist with an already failed experiment. I simply cannot believe it. Does he want to get sacked? Does he want the ire of all of the fans?

And Cherrington after his howler?

Well, how bad do you have to play to get demoted?

AND DON'T BS ME ABOUT WE HAVE NO DEPTH. You are only as strong as your weakest link and we'd be a damn sight better playing with 16 men.

Even if we win this week and won last week nothing will make up for the continual grand idiocy of our coach's team selection.

I seem to remember that "you're dropped". Were dirty words last season as well.
After last week, I Would much rather have Littlejohn as the backup hooker( if we needed one.And I'm not sure how long Chee Kam is going to sit on the sideline while JT puts his favourite plodders on the field.
Looks like we've still got Koalas.

I also don't see what he does ON the field as well, because he does very little at all.
It's hard to fathom that with all the players that we have handed over to other clubs, he is still here
Also I don't care much if he is the best trainer in the club. Means bugger all if he doesn't repeat that in actual games.
Last time that I looked , THAT was where the 2 points were won or lost.

It depends if those certain players play a part in the win or not.
Nothing will change the fact , that there will be players on the field that wouldn't make any other NRL team at the moment

It's exactly the team I expected and dreaded. Most of us are saying the same thing - Lovett is not first grade standard and Buchanan offers absolutely nothing off the bench. When I put up a thread pointing out that the team lost intensity and go forward when Buchanan replaced Grant I was howled down. We need power and energy off the bench.

Halatau was good at 2nd row last year so I don't think we lose much with him replacing Rowdy. Lovett I don't think is an 80 min player yet so unless Aloiai is going to replace him on the edge then we may be in trouble.

With that bench I think we just lose too much when the likes of Woods, Sue & Grant come off. Ava & Aloiai hold their own but Buchanan just doesn't seem to have an impact. Would prefer Edwards, Griffin or Chee-Kam get a chance in place of Buchanan & Cherry - they'd add more impact, Halatau can always cover for Robbie when he needs a spell.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the big game & hope we make it 3 Easter Monday victories in a row!!
