WESTS Tigers Team V Souths

LATEST- Malakai Watene-Zelezniak will make his Tigers debut at right centre V Souths tomorrow. Chee-Kam to bench. JJ Felise set to drop off - via Foxsports

Why would we run with 2 second rowers on the bench? Sounds like a really bad idea if you ask me. Also, I assume this means Nofa is a certainty to start.

Josh Aloiai played right in the middle and probably had his best game in a Wests Tigers jersey against the Sharks a fortnight ago…Grant is a prop

I would have Felise there but Chee-Kam covers centre should Nofoaluma go down..I

I reckon Aloiai is a lot better in the middle. LIddle as the dummy half replacement and MCK as a backrow or centre replacement makes sense to me.

He did have a great game against the Sharks, I hope he can back it up. I'm also hoping to see a little more from Chee-Kam playing in the second-row this week.

MALAKAI Watene-Zelezniak will definitely make his Wests Tigers debut on Friday night, and younger brother Dallin will definitely be in the stands at ANZ Stadium, complete with a Tigers jersey.
“He’s always at my games, I’m always at his, and **I might even pull on a Tigers jersey**,’’ said Dallin, the Kiwi

:astonished: Don't tease us Dallin.

But, seriously if one of our players put on another teams jersey while they were playing for us, I'd be pretty pissed.

Should be a pass for brothers though… only way i could stomach it,

Don't know. If Nofa went to go watch his brother play for the Broncos and put a Broncos jersey on, I'd be pretty filthy.

So are we running with 2 second rowers or 2 Props a second rower who covers centre and a hooker and is that a bad idea if I ask you..?

Off the bench we are playing 2 props, 1 second rower who can play centre & 1 hooker. I think it's fine. Ideally your hooker can go for 80 minutes and you have another prop on the bench but I can understand Liddle being on the bench.

Depends how many minutes Ava can get through in his first stint. Problem is starting 2 props not known for big minutes and having a part time prop on the bench.

MWZ is a legitimate centre option and MCK is a centre backup, easy decision for me.

We aren't surprised right? I expected a mid-year transfer like this to end up in firsts rather quickly. Jamal going down sealed it.

3\. Michael Chee Kam
4\. Moses Suli
5\. Kevin Naiqama
6\. Mitchell Moses
7\. Luke Brooks

13\. Elijah Taylor

Interchange:
14\. Tim Grant

So the likely lineup tonight is:

1 James Tedesco
2 David Nofoaluma
21\. Malakai Watene-Zelezniak
4 Moses Suli
5 Kevin Naiqama
6 Mitchell Moses
7 Luke Brooks
8 Sauaso Sue
9 Matt McIlwrick
10 Ava Seumanufagai
11 Joel Edwards
12 Chris Lawrence ©
13 Elijah Taylor

Interchange
3 Michael Chee Kam
14 Tim Grant
15 Josh Aloiai
17 Jacob Liddle

That's too light a bench for mine, I like Josh Aloiai but I don't believe he's a prop. I'd rather drop Edwards, start Aloiai in the back row and bring in Felise on the bench.

Hope that we are ready for Farah to pull out a big game tonight and get their big pack on the front foot against our lighter forwards…

These indigenous round smoking ceremony's just get bigger and more impressive each year
