Exactly, the major thing is this is being done for our long term goals as a club not for winning this season. It'll be through this new boardroom in a few years we will finally have stability with no factional infighting. I watched the presser yesterday and was listening to the wealth guy, sorry can't remember his name, he was saying he could offer opportunities outside of football and 3rd party agreements through his contacts. I can't remember having anyone at the Tigers with an ability like Gyngell at the Roosters to offer guys something of a career in retirement in trying to get them over or entice them to come at unders.

You know what Telltails we finally have some great positivity to look forward to after many years of mediocrity,instability and inhouse fighting because of the hard work of the people involved in getting a petition rolling ,signed and presented...
BUT still we have people on here with negativity,doubt and downright dislike for people with positive outlooks for our club and team...
Im going to say this once and for all...We support the WTs,we want to see the team and club be an absolute force in the future...
Please leave the history of the founding clubs where it belongs...IN THE HISTORY ANNALS so people can look back while the rest of us move forward at a very solid pace...

It took 13 months to get the new directors in place... that's not exactly moving quickly.

Between adding Richo, Luai and now an independent Board, along with 5-6 other quality players, it’s been a sensational 12 months for the club. Hats off to everyone who campaigned for change.

Now for the results on field to turnaround. If they don’t, we must be cursed.

We said this 12 months ago. Couldn't care less who we get, who's in charge, how much our centre of excellence costs, what jersey we wear, etc. if we finish last or play horrible and inconsistent

Bottom line is, I think we should all be pleased that we have had the independents announce, now it's just a matter of waiting to see how independent the 3 new board members are.

Hopefully it does not end up being a shit fight like it has been in the past and I guess the first test will be on the 28th to see if Barry O'Farrell is still the Chair.

The vote for chair will be very interesting indeed.
