I think Thompson adds pace and is tricky in traffic Doohicky is a big unit so is more of a target. He's safe at the back so that's a big plus and I think once he gets used to Madge's plans he'll be better. For now, Leave CT at the back.

Impressed with Musgrove again, Thommo looked good in the first half but i feel Doueihi created the extra man very well and his passing game is on point. Walters didnt look too bad either JR had plenty of energy but i worry about his longevity in the middle. BJ what a weapon i thought he showed some nice toe him and Noffa are going to be hard to handle this year, 100% upgrade on Marsters.

Good game for a trial. We expect to see some rust and there was plenty but the addition of new talent and emerging combinations I’m feeling pretty good for the season from what I’ve seen.

Elijah Taylor was pretty good today. Maybe he grabs a bench spot for round 1. Lock is the position he’s best at and that’s where we lack the most

Reckon that he wrestled control back to our forwards and literally at that. His energy was enormous out there this afternoon and right up until his last involvement.

Looks like grub will have a bench spot.
Despite the 2 tries we can't have Nofo with his terrible defensive reads on the wing, I've seen it too many times to ignore it now, he obviously hasn't improved that part of his game .
If he gets the spot I seriously question Madges coaching ability, surely he's seen what we all have.
