emotions aside. 1-5 with only Nofo first choice in his position was always going to be difficult. Had our chances but couldn't cash in.

If Hastings was captain today we win simple as that. He is the only leader in this club and should make him captain/coach.
It is totally on the Coaching staff.
Picking Gildart when he obviously wasn't up to it was a mistake. Putting a halfback on the bench to play for 8 minutes was a mistake.
Playing 5 hitups and a bomb to a non pressured fullback every set was dumb.
Going to the left side everytime was a mistake.
All these could of had been avoided before the game and that's on the coach.
Positives though that we played 80 minutes and our forward pack is holding our own.

Apparently. That was a try everyday but we had numerous chances after that and soiled our duds each time.
A reserve grade standard backline lost us that game.

Think some of the comments unfair tbh. Tried hard just not enough class. Backline is reserve grade at the moment & unlucky on the Tuilagi no try call. Add Laurie + Douiehi + Simpkin + Maumolo we win that game in a canter.

Yeah Hastings wanted to take the two on both occasions. Not sure who turned him down

The commentators explained that the rules allow to do that while trying to stop a try.. It's all crap
