Where do you want us to play?

10 people vote for Bank West. I assume 2 did it accidentally. 1 misunderstood the question
and 1 did it ironically. Still leaves 6. Strange.

Its not and never will be a neutral ground let alone a home for anyone else other than the eels for NRL games. They can call it "the jungle" put pictures of tigers and and make all the lights orange. It will be the Eels ground.

The club already struggles with an identity issue. This ground with all its shinny features will only add to that.

If wests are not going to play out of our traditional homes (LO/CSS) it has to be a proper neutral ground. ANZ ticks that box. Bank west is a failed experiment of the tiges, time to move on.

With a defeatist attitude like that, what hope do we have...

@tigerbalm Do not get carried away I did not vote and 10 of my family members who are also members did not , as this poll means nothing .. the club needs to select the ground , or the merry go round will just keep going !

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has been left with a hole in the ground and no builder for her contentious $729 million Allianz Stadium knockdown and rebuild after the government cancelled its contract with builders Lendlease over a cost blowout.

Lendlease told the government it was unable to build the stadium within the budget Ms Berejiklian promised at the March election. The debacle sets the scene for construction delays and the possibility the stadium will not be ready for the 2022 NRL grand final — the year before the next state election. If the venue is not ready, the NRL could take the match to Queensland.

Sports Minister John Sidoti’s office said the government had decided not to proceed with Lendlease, which demolished the old stadium, after it was unable to reach agreement with the firm.

The Australian revealed yesterday that Lendlease was chasing tens of millions of dollars more to finish the project, threatening to blow out the government’s $2 billion stadiums package even further.

Already, the government has spent $360m on Bankwest Stadium at Parramatta and is promising $810m for a refurbishment of ANZ Stadium. It also spent $200m buying back ANZ from a private operator.

The Weekend Australian has been told Lendlease wanted $50m to $100m more than had been budgeted to complete the Allianz (Sydney Football Stadium) project in Sydney’s east.

So much for the SFS.

Not sure what I said was defeatist? The club took the $$$ and good on them. Also, it looks like a great stadium, If im honest, im Jealous that parra have that as a home ground. But it is their ground.

I guess you have to ask yourself, ( and play make believe) how would you feel about West’s making finals ( ha) drawing home ground advantage (haha) and playing parra at Bankwest?

MCG works as a common home ground as it was never a AFL teams traditional home ground.

ANZ the same. Doesn’t “belong” to any one team.

Why not play out of Penrith stadium? What’s the difference? Penrith has decent toilets as that seems to be the main concearn for people’s “game day experience”

In my mind, it’s very simple. If CSS and LO are not part of the long term plan of the club, They must choose a single home ground. It is not a home game for west’s if I’m sitting in the Stirling Stand.

It should be scaled back to 30k. Just plonk another BW there.

ANZ stadium for me. I’d go 10-1-1 ANZ, CS, LO.
I have high hopes that the atmosphere at ANZ will be much improved post renovations - rectangular stadium, steeper seating, and closed off upper tiers for smaller crowds should all help. Homebush is the best option geographically - centrally located, close to our base at Concord, and serviced by a train station (plenty of parking too).
Wanting our home ground at Campbelltown is madness IMO. It appeals to those fans living in SWS, and that’s about it. Despite our woeful on field performances, the Tigers brand is one of the strongest in Sydney... we have fans all over the city. Souths are the same, hence why they choose ANZ as their home ground, despite the SFS being much closer to Redfern.

I would prefer Bankwest over ANZ everyday of the week. ANZ has nothing going for it!

What does BankWest have going for it. One side of the ground is completey closed off to the general public.

It has a decent view, easy to access car parking. I can show up for the lower grades and my wife and daughter get head down into Parra to a café or shopping, plenty of toilets so when my daughter wants to go the toilet in the middle of the game my wife and her are in and out in quick time missing little of the game, has good food options inside the ground. I actually have other supporters sitting around me instead of sitting in a 3/4 empty stadium, after the game we can head some place to get a feed and actually make a day of the trip to footy!

There’s parking at ANZ. Not sure what lower grades have to with it being a good ground.
