Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

Also interesting of note to see, once again, assistant coach Craig Sandercock doing all the talking at half time and JT standing there like a lost little boy.
Sack JT now. Pretender.

Didn't see that!!! I was out the back mumbling expletives so my partner didn't lose it at me, doing laps of the backyard at half time. I considered staying out there considering how we were playing.

If that's true about Sandercock and he was the one behind that comeback then he deserves the job and JT can head for hills with his tail between his legs. That would be the second or third time he's been caught on camera sulking in the sheds at half time letting his assistants dish out the motivation!

So the camera is on the sheds for 10 seconds when Sandercock is addressing the team, and suddenly it's all due to him. I usually try to choose my words carefully because sometimes anything you say that slightly in JT's favour gets perceived as you being a JT lover, but I don't care in this instance. The lengths some of you will go to to discredit anything JT may deserve praise for is really something else.

Harvey,

My argument was it was a poor decision to play our best forward at starting number 9.

Plain and simple.

I do not necessarily agree with it,

You said it

But it likely would have happened anyway as after Halatau went down, Liddle would have likely been able to play 50mins and so either ET, Lovett or someone else would have needed to spend time there, and we would be one big forward short on the bench.

Keep deflecting boys

Dripping with irony.

Yeah its dripping with irony of course.

Im suggesting a coach is responsible for selections of the his team.

It a big stretch to make I know!!

Especially considering Farahs recent benching anf JAC being dropped for Rankin.

Anyway, lets blame ONeill. Im sure he came in the office on Thursday's and says "lets rest Farah and play ET at hooker"

GNR simple question do you not think Taylor is getting the team he wants? Do you really believe that? If you do just tell us mate instead of dancing around it talking about committee?

I think some are forgetting that we've lost plenty with farah starting this year.
All of a sudden were losing because he's out? Please

I thought it was the Dr that ruled Farah out as backing up 4 days after being concussed does not sit well with current medical opinion.

Who here has said that??

Many have said it was a bone headed to rest him when your forced to play our best forward at starting 9 against the Chooks?

This was put to bed after the Canberra game by the Players themselves…Taylor has his say ,,,then the assistant coaches have their say...Taylor then gives his final instructions...

But yeah don't let that stop anyone...

GNR, Gallagher

Do you want me to find the posts praising Taylor when we won against Souths? Praising him when we won 2 in a row? Bagging Farah when he opend his mouth? Bagging Farah that he was playing average football?

IM capable of doing both. I dont just sit on one side of the argument. I can praise Taylor and call him out. You guys cant bring yourselves to do that.

I talk about the coach when we win and when he lose as he is accountable for winning and losing.

You blokes when every poor selection is made try and talk about Oneill.

Oh Buckets bought in the Pizzas thats why we lost!!!

Oh Buckets is in the coaching box he must be in his ear!!

Oh Buckets is picking the team now so its not Taylors fault!!

If thats not deflecting im not sure what it.

Keep digging though

Keep it going though its entertaining.

Is it ever JTs fault at all guys??

It's really stupid to think that a first grade coach would move Taylor, who's been the catalyst of everything we have bascially been doing in attack, and place him at hooker, effectively negating everything he has done for us since coming to the Tigers. ET has been the link between Moses and Brooks in the middle. Why not place a specialist hooker into the team and not take away from what we have been doing? Seems to me when Elijah plays Lock we win most times, plays hooker… 2 from 2 losses. Liddle or Cherrington really needed to be in the team somewhere today. Suicidal to move Taylor from a position he has been killing over the last 5 games to try and stopgap in at hooker. Especially from a first grade coach.

What happened to Jack Littlejohn he is easily better than Halatau or ET @ Hooker.
He played well against the Warriors round 1.

Injured…

Farah will be back next week after being medically ruled out from todays game...Cherrington's form in NSW Cup has been non-existent for months...Liddle was close to playing today...they went with the safer option ...Halatau lasting 10mins didn't help ..hindsight is a wonderful thing..

Exactly - but hey lets hang Taylor our to dry for not seeing that Halatau would cop a head knock. I don't like playing Elijah Taylor at hooker to start game but I don't like Halatau starting either if Farah isn't backup. You're not going to throw a rookie in against Melb - it was a no win situation.

Careful Tuiaki,

You need to talk about Oneill when talking about bad selections.

The coaches hands are tied!

Eddie, you're the king deflector here. No one is saying it's O'Neill and not JT, we're acknowledging the change in attitude some of you have to the one that was in the TT thread. Does this comprehend? No one is defending Taylor or blaming Buckets, it's the change of tune of JT's critics. I'm trying to explain this in the simplest terms I can cos you it's not registering. Do you understand now?

If Taylor is not responsible for any of losses then I guess he can't be responsible any of the wins either. Can't have it both ways
Sort of makes him irrelevent.

I have praised him after several wins.

Its just funny that after a poor selections his little foot soliders want to talk about Oneill!!

OK lets play your silly game - Farah is ruled out injured -

Do you play Halatau - who everyone on here wants dropped and offers nothing in attack and little in defence
Do you play Cherrington - who isn't up to it and is supposedly going to Penrith
Do you play Liddle - good prospect but isn't up to NRL standard yet
Do you play Taylor who like Halatau isn't a hooker but offers more in defense and attack.

Halatau and ET are terrible hookers JT deserves criticism for this it was poor planning.

Why are so many of us making excuses for JT he is a proven an sub-standard coach.
We can't afford to pay out his contract and will probably see out his contract as our leaders won't admit their failure in hiring this mug in the first place.
