Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

well here we go again good enough for NSW but has to be on the bench for the lowly tigers, hey maybe he got a knock to the head while JT was reading out the team list, what a joke.

What was the score last time he started on the bench?

but we dont have a hooker at the moment, ET was wasted at hooker last week and dene just does not finish game anymore. a lot of u people really hate robbie its not his fault the club owes him back money.

Dene was the hooker in that game against Souths like he is this week. Farah came on and played the best he's played all yr.

It worked, and given the yr we've had, why abandon something that's brought success. Stop putting Farah above the team.

I think we'l find that Souths were a different kettle of fish than The Panthers will be.

It should also be noted that we were up 20-0 against Souths in Round 9 when Robbie started at number 9.

This weeks game will be a tougher challenge.

Here's an idea. Play Robbie for 80 minutes and have another big bopper on the bench and steamroll teams up the middle.

We don't really need to do that, all our props have decent tanks and we're running an 80 minute lock. The makeup of our forward pack allows us to carry an impact player on the bench and we'll get the most impact out of a second hooker. It's just a shame that we don't seem to have a good option for second hooker with Cherrington injured or out of favour, Liddle probably not yet ready and Ballin injured…so Dene it is for 15 or 20 minutes.

A second hooker is a good idea but Dene isn't an impact player and Robbie is definitely a starter. We need a quick impact player ala what Cherrington was doing for us. Assuming Cherrington isn't playing well I think play Robie for 80 and have 4 forwards on the bench. Dene can also play backrow and spell Aloiai who seems to only have the ability to play limited minutes at the moment.

Dene isn't an impact player but having Robbie come on after 20 minutes does provide an impact - he's dangerous around the ruck and can come on with fresh legs when the big men are towards the back end of their first stints. I think you're too hung up on the idea of the starting role as some kind of indication of status. Paul Green uses Jake Granville in the same way (who can also play 80) and it's not taken as a mark of disrespect to Granville.

Pay Farah for 80 and all you get is an alan tongue type performance . Lots of tackles and average service.
It's s waste of his talents.

Has anyone pointed this out to Laurie Daley?

No one is willing to crawl up bozo's backside in order to talk to Daley.

Some kids aren't fazed by a move to top grade, ie Taylor Gold coast, Cleary Panthers.
Liddle gives the impression he might be one of these, he definitely is a quality player.

Cleary is an exceptional talent, he is 18 and shows great poise, he also is a very good defender, and a goal kicker, maybe we should have got Ivan here earlier when the talk was around, and got Nathan along as well, good luck to the kid, he is going to have a very long career.

I think it will work out a lot better for him not being coached by his dad. I doubt his dad would have picked him to debut at 18 for starters.

So far he is looking like one of those rare talents that can actually handle first grade at 18.

Ok, and what damage is that? A coach can't work with a team if the kingpin (in his own mind) shows no respect for him. Maybe he feels more damage is being caused with Farah still in the picture. I don't know, but the players - no matter which ones, can not run the show. That's a recipe for failure.

WD, the timing of all this is just awful.
Not required at this time of the season at all..

We had plenty of time to recover from this if it had been done sooner in the season or perhaps at the start of it

This will impact players, the fans and supporters and we will be the joke of the town ..
This is self destruction really.

Wonder what Harry is thinking ..
Not Harry Styles but Harry Triguboff

He has mentioned before he doesnt appreciate turmoil in the club, i just hope we dont bugger off a major sponsor too
