Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

Also interesting of note to see, once again, assistant coach Craig Sandercock doing all the talking at half time and JT standing there like a lost little boy.
Sack JT now. Pretender.

Presume you watched the whole Tiger half time scenario.

If you didn't - you are making it up for your own agenda as usual.

Hit a soft spot did I? Is that you JT? Or are you JT's mother?

For the record - I am not JT, nor his Mother, nor did you hit a soft spot.

We can all be smart a…s

What I was saying, in your falling over yourself to put the boot in AGAIN!!!!

You watch 10 seconds in the dressing room and come up with a ridiculous scenario that JT is sulking, never addressed the players, and let Sandercock do his job.

Bag him all you like - that is your prerogative. Put the boot in for real things that he has done wrong, or didn't do and not stuff you make up for your own agenda material.

Funny this one…when they first switched over to the dressing room Taylor was doing the talking than Sandercock was talking when the camera did another pan. Now if your down 26 blot at half time how are you going to win the game...pretty obvious by throwing caution to the wind and attacking at every opportunity, so of course the attacking coach is going to have the main input. I just can not believe what people read into things on this forum in order to push their point of view. I am actually applaud Taylor for using his assistant coaches and allowing them input

I agree with this.

In stating that Taylor and his decisions regarding the dummy half role in our team is costing us games. This is where I think a massive rocket needs to be put up his backside. He lost us games last season and he is doing it again this season.

Playing ET at hooker is just a monumentally brain-dead ploy no matter which way you carve it IMO. Our most effective ball playing forward is lost- put Lovett or someone like him there instead that has no offloading ability or 2nd phase play in his game and just tell him to shuffle the ball out to the halves.
Do Souths ever waste S Burgess at hooker, Brisbane with Corey Parker, NQ with Taumalolo, Cronulla with Fifita or Graham? No, because losing your best offloading ballplaying weapon to just be a distributer from dummy half is a bloody ridiculous idea that should not be given any thought. JT definitely gets it wrong when he decides to go this way.
Halatau gets injured nearly every game he plays now- he is a liabilty and should make way for Cheers Kam who is much more versatile and less injury prone. Dene needs to retire and as much as he has been a good servant to WT I hope we don't give him a contract for 2017- he is finished IMO.
Liddle needs to be thrown in at the deep end at some stage soon because next year he in all probability will be our main hooking option if the distinct possibilities of Farah moving on, Ballin struggling to get back from injury, Cherrington moving on and Halatau retiring come to fruition. Next season is looking decidedly iffy in the hooking position for us next year.
I would be having a close look at getting Isaac De Gois back to the club if he is apparently getting pushed out of Parra, Liddle is gonna need a full season or so of being able to ease into the role and I fear he nay not be able to be afforded that luxury the way things are panning out.

Well nothing has changed this week, Farah off the bench and Deano starting the game. Best no9 in NSW, being paid a squillion and we start him off the bench and run him for 60 minutes. Maybe it is just a ploy to make him angry and want to put egg on a certain persons face

Didn't taylor day he was gonna do this for the rest of the year a couple of weeks back?

Strongly inferred as much, yes.
Will be interesting to see if he persists if we cop a hiding soon, regardless of whether or not the policy has an affect on the result. The press will go mental.

well here we go again good enough for NSW but has to be on the bench for the lowly tigers, hey maybe he got a knock to the head while JT was reading out the team list, what a joke.

What was the score last time he started on the bench?

That says more about NSW than us.

Desperate times calls for desperate excuses. We won last start with this ploy, but lets use NSW as a guide when they pick Walker, Ferguson, Jennings etc and leave out Tedesco and Cartwright. NSW know how to pick em don't they.

I certainly wouldn't be using Daley and Bozo to back up my opinion.

Dene was the hooker in that game against Souths like he is this week. Farah came on and played the best he's played all yr.

It worked, and given the yr we've had, why abandon something that's brought success. Stop putting Farah above the team.

I just think that we'll get the best from Farah giving him 60 mins. The middle 40mins is a must, and the final 20 would be better than the first 20 IMO.
If he is only getting 20 mins game time then i could understand the up roar.

He played his best game of the year from the bench. I don't care whether it's annoyance at being benched or just the reduced minutes but it worked last time, so we should stick with it until it stops working.

Im not going to argue about NSW. Daley and Bozo I got little time for.

However you could say that the tactics against Souths said more for SOuths and how they are travelling then our tactics. Just a thought. In fairness Farah played well, and things worked quite well, but this week will be a stiffer test against Penrith.

Really I do not care who plays no9 as long as they can throw a pass (backwards) and feed the ball to the correct side of the ruck, plug a hole up the middle, be able to kick from dummy half and catch out some tiring markers. Now I wonder who ticks those boxes at Camp Concord!!!!
