Who is our worst

An element of it is attitude because the ability is there when the players play for other clubs.
Playing for a lesser team means the good players have to work twice as hard. Maybe what you're mistaking for effort/attitude is exhaustion from the extras these new players do that they didn't at their old clubs. But yeah I agree some degree of the problem is attitude

Laurie, Nofa, Talau, Staines, Doueihi, Brooks, Seyfarth, Twal?

You would struggle to find as big a collection of crap in a water treatment plant
Huge difference between the lot of them.

Brooks, Nofa, seasoned under-performers. Particularly Brooks who should have hit the play notes. Nofa, should have learned how to defend and not get caught by now. I don't think he cares.

Seyfarth was a reserve grade player, we pushed him clearly way to hard. Not the best but we were starting someone who should be NR19. Talau I see the same.

Laurie and Staines need guidance, Laurie seems to have the right ability but poor coaching.

How's all pre season we heard whispers that Talau has locked down a centre position....

Hadn't played in over a year
Played wing previously
Is slow & a poor defender
Hardly has shown anything at a first grade level......

Yet they had THIS guy pencilled in for that starting role..

His immature attitude was on display yesterday...

This isn't just a crack at Talau but the coaching staff who thought this was a good idea.

Nofo, Talau, Laurie & Brooks -
Let's move em on and sign a decent centre.
We've known we've been needing this for a long time and nothing has been done about it.

Much like our lack of regard around signing a capable half-back.

I'd vote for coaching. Coaching is the worse of the lot.
There is no structure at all, no straight runners, halves standing still. A naturally talented player like Marshall can't coach attack. Everything came natural to him, so what could he possibly offer? All the best coaches had to work super hard at there game to even play NRL. There has never in the history of Rugby League been a successful coach that was an incredibly gifted player.
Bozo?

The problem is that you are others keep framing the issue into something that Brooks can't do. He isn't that guy. He isn't the guy to turn a dud attack into gold. He is a role player in the halves. He has been played that way for the past 2 seasons at least.
Halfbacks aren't role players.

How can anyone possibly defend Brooks today? There would not be a half in the game, in NRL, NSW Cup, or Super League, who would have failed to guide their team to victory today.
Knights were already wooden spoon contenders, to then lose so many players to injury or bin - it should have been scientifically impossible to win.

Brooks is irredeemable
Spot on.
It was a game only the Wests Tigers could lose.
The rugby league Gods handed the win to us on a platter and yet in almost comical fashion, we put our hands up and said -
“Nah, not interested, let Newy have the points”

Don’t forgot AD he Has started the season in poor form. He was shit at a whole new level yesterday.

Watched him and Nofo closely.

Nofo seems to have mentally checked out - it's round 2 though, what's wrong with this guy !? He doesn't care.

AD seems to care, too much.
Hes overwhelmed and cannot seem to be able to manage his workload. Everything rushed, forced - no direction.

Laurie and Brooks - absolutely nothing going on there, just don't have the skills in their arsenal to carry out their jobs. Simply out of their depth.

Talau - never has and never will be a genuine first grader, much like the brothers.

We lack a backline that can finish off a play have been saying it for about 10 years. In the last 10 years I have not seen a jnr player of true NRL quality at our club so this development tag is a load of crap.

AD took stupid to a whole new level Yesterday. He had players on his outside and out number the defence all he needed to do was straighten his run and pass but instead he engaged the defended and passed to no one.
We had them on the back foot he needs to stand and play the ball, but instead steps on his dick.

TT is crap. Was before his injury and still is don’t know what they see in him.

Yesterday Brooks was our best player by a mile, and I’m not sticking up for him but I read the forum and people are giving it to him for the loss. The funny thing is they are also claiming the coaches to be bad judges, hard to be objective after such a loss but the bias both by supporters and coaches is chocking the club And the forum

Just some basic direction around the park, is that too much to expect from a halfback?

Like Hastings does when he points his finger or AD does when he overplays his hand and stuffs up an easy scoring opportunity. You mean like that ?

I don't think that helps us.

No. It's not about caring too much. It's about not having the ability to play in the halves. His game management is considerably worse than Brooks. I stated this prior to yesterdays game as well.

His defense is atrocious. It's so bad that he is consistently targeted by opposition teams. His game management is the worst I've ever seen. Cronk stated he looks to want to score off every touch and it's all high risk plays. His bombs are okay but inconsistent. His running game is his strength but he isn't running enough.

On the bright side, each game that AD & Brooks play is bringing their asking price down & you do need to fill a roster

People need to stop talking out of their backsides. He got the 3 from me and anyone who has any idea about rugby league.

Clearly our best player and it wasn't close.

Brooks 500k as a secondary playmaker. AD 350k less as a utility player. So basically half what they are on now.

I stated ages ago why wasn't To'a picked and I got the same To'a is ordinary. What does To'a do yesterday when he comes on ? He fends people off and puts in a great kick late in the tackle when he had the ball. He did more in about 15 minutes than any of our centres have done in the past 2 games.

TT has always been terrible. Maybe he needs time to get his game together or whatever but to pick him ahead of To'a is all time level stupidity.
