Will David Nofoaluma play this weekend? Will he actually get some minutes? Also, will Kiethy? And when will Simona be back? We need some spark in our backline for our attack!

Nofo and Simona will make our side better but they won't change our fortunes too much if the embarrassing performance last week is any gauge. We need hardness and desperation at the moment more than anything.

So if Nofo can help defend that side and Koro can use his pace to score a try or two then i think we will be even.

Koro is forever being caught out when players attack his wing. He holds off thinking that his centre will do the tackling. By then the bird has flown. A stint in State Cup where he could improve his defensive positional play would help him immensely.
A lot of people on here are blaming koro, but it comes back to the coaches, what the hell are they working on with him during the week, at our A-GRADE if someone is having trouble in defence we work on it and we only get 4 hours a week they get all week, it seems like someone is not donning there job.

Manfred Moore … Now there's a name from the past ! Remember seeing him play at Henson Park .... I think half the mob went along just to see him play .... The poor old Jets were struggling a bit at the time.

let's just say if Koro didn't have the speed that he does , he would be no where near 1st grade FACT!!!!

I think people are too hard on koro's defence last week… the sliding defence on that side of the park hung him out to dry with numbers far too late, outnumbered he had 2 options
1) not to jockey the ballplayers and hit them, giving one possibly 2 men outside him uncontested space if the ball gets released...otherwise
2) which he did, was to slide with the ball, half a player between the ball carrier and the outside men, to cover the pass if it were to happen, and to open up an inside lane if the ballplayer decided to go it alone where troops should be sliding over to shut it down.
You could tell that they had been working with him by the way he wasnt doing his old trick of playing the ball only, and was instead trying to hold it up. Whilst I agree he should have made the decision to put the hit on in certain occasions, you cannot jockey into the in goal, our defence had compressed into the centre of the park and never even made it close to giving him any assistance on a few occasions.

I haven't seen a replay, but he looked improved on his defensive reads to me. He never rushed in and had to end up sliding and hovering off to have a chance at the ball player and his outside man due to the overlap the rest of the backline let happen.
He took a couple of good catches too which is good to see.
