I wonder if Todd Payten might do a Skando and come out of retirement if required. I'd say it would be 1000-1 but you never know.

Todd's knee isn't up to it anymore.

I'd throw Brown's wages at him right away. We're down a prop at this stage and an experienced one at that. If we have a few more injuries we'll be in a bit of trouble.
Has it been confirmed that we don't want him? Or is it just someone heard something from someone somewhere that somebody said no?
It'll be interesting to see how Moors goes. If he steps up we may not need another prop.

Even if moors steps up, I think we do. We are only one injury in for a 4 player rotation position. If another bloke goes down, I don't like to think of our options… They are certainly limited.

Evarn Tuimavave would be the better option. On the outer with the Knights, and would shape as a longer-term option as he is only 27

I don't think we need a longer-term option - we need a cheap, serviceable option for 2012.

I just noticed mason has cleared the majority of his tweets on his twitter account. There's no more Fs and Cs all over the place. Just stuff from the past few days then the next one is before Christmas. Would you take anything away from that?

someone like him would be good when we loose players to injury.. This weekend would be a perfect fitment for him… he is aggressive enough to get in the faces of the manly tools. bit of experience... but still he is a loose cannon... needs to keep his mouth shut and stop being a DH

the fact that you currently need a boat to move around Sydney may be causing delays for getting people, pens and paper together if anything was to be signed today

i heard on the weekend newcastle were still interested in willy , if thats the case we should be geting a move on , Bennett is a good judge , his record speaks for it self

Well if no one is going to move on the guy and he's like at a loose end on the weekends and stuff - Well, hey the Western Suburbs Maggies could certainly use a battering ram of his stature in the NSW Cup.
Whatcha say Willie ?
Not much cash involved, but they're a great bunch of blokes and your 3 times the size of the coach which usually guarantees you can come up with your own game plan each week …

Given the fact the general feeling amoungst everyone is that we were a prop short even before Galloways injury, theres nothing wrong with picking up someone who will be an option beyond 2012\. Especially considering theres no gaurentees that Bell will be here beyond this year

if Bell plays the way he did on sunday he will be here , i think sheens may get get him going nicely this year , but mason for this year i think would be excellent back up , i know a lot of people on here dont like him , but if he can help us win the comp so be it

I have close friend who's wife knows mr Humphrey 's and reports are big Willie will sign on for match payments

Well if that"s the case that is a massive bonus for the club, the odds of making the grand final have just shortened..

Talk in today's Tele of us being linked to Mason or Lima. Has there been a year that we havnt been linked to Jeff Lima since he left.?

Wayne Bennet linked to those two players, Tim Sheens was just mentioned in the article.

I think both Woods and Groat will do very well this weekend.

We could let Willy play for us if he really wants to - would be very generous to give a young guy a chance in the big league who knows how much improvement he ha in him

Is there a link to the article tiga4eva, or did you read it in the old fashioned way, with trees?

Relax people, no need for hysteria.

WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?

…..who'll clamour for his autograph.

Yeah they can take some of his mug shots to the games and get them signed

Or maybe when he becomes imprisoned we can do Willie jailed masks and have a picture of Willie behind bars like the Wally Golly masks in the 90's
