WT Ownership, The Board & Senior Management - MEGA Thread

Thank you, much appreciated.

It’s an easy kill because our management is like a situation comedy tv show at the moment. Even if it’s not rating very well, they keep re-running it.

We are heading into our 10th month without a single solitary signing.

Not even a used Bronco.

The Munster fracas reminded me a lot of Latrell except this time, Lee didn’t promise he would actually arrive.

Lee sat on the board of an nrl club and he actually believed that cold hard cash meant everything to a player and unfortunately, there’s echoes of this in the Munster play.

Did we not learn anything?

The board and club only release this stuff as a feel good for us, and it’s wearing very thin.

We don’t have to broadcast our interest in any player and if anything, it only serves to drive up their price if they are actually interested.

This is our lot in life.

There was very little about paps and api until Madge had got their signature.

Pascoe is threatening 3 years lawn mowing if paps doesn’t come, ffs, paps should ask Josh about that.

This is why we are one of the least successful Sporting organisations in Australia. Our decision makers are not accountable to anyone. Our results have been abysmal, yet they retain power.

I have had plenty of experience with boards and board members,from my experience with them I have found some underlying faults that cause them to implode and the effects run throughout the club.....
1..Elected to the board because no one else would take it on..
2..Some board members have NO IDEA of how the business they represent runs..
3..Some that have put their hand up to be on the board do so with a different agenda in mind..eg..Board to decide on renovations,key member of board has a besty that is a builder...
Which brings me to the killer of all time in many boards and clubs"NEPOTISM""

Would love if their 2023 goals include -
NRL team to finish 8th position or better
Instead main goal is keep the status quo meaning the board and balance the books !

It seems that way. Which is strange because Sheens was sacked because the team ran 10th, Maguire sacked for only getting 3 wins from 12, Noddy definitely couldn’t stay on with no wins from 11 and Gardiner, who got 1 win from 1 game was too good to stay. It’s off to the premiers for you buddy, yer making us all look bad. 😂 The board however, who won’t admit their incompetence, are making decisions which directly impact on field performance and are never in the firing line. Well at least not until now, because WT has become the but of all nrl jokes.
It’s time WT had a complete overhaul and did things differently. We need the organisation to develop into a powerhouse.
Or we can continue sacking people, but sooner or later people see through that because it’s slightly hypocritical to call yourself a development club when you’re sacking so many people.

Just glad Paps and Api made it through.

The rest of the game was nonsense. I watched about 10 minutes of it tbh.

Now we wait for the scandal. Hopefully a few of the Penrith wags get drunk and end up on the web somewhere with a back as is the panthers want.

Nothing screws up a club like unfaithfulness and cheating a la Mitch and his value system.
