Your Ideal 2017: Farah, Taylor, Both or Neither?

I voted both Robbie and Jason out but for two different reasons.Robbie has been a wonderful player for us over the years but unfortunately is getting more dollars than he should due to terrible management.Jason is an awful coach who has no idea on using his roster to the benefit of our club. The fact that i had to say both should be gone is unfair but an honest answer. best .Taylor is a blight to WT a club i hope we all support not Balmain or the Magpies.Robbie should leave imo for the future of our club but has to get what he is owed as he has made sacrifices for us

The poll is making it look more and more like the Farah supporters are a vocal minority of the regular posters on here. 100 posters being about the number that would constitute the number of regular posters on this forum.

The polls also said Labor was likely to win tbe election too but look how that turned out.

Don't read too much into polls.

Lol all polls said labor would lose quite substantially and went a lot closer to winning than Murdoch would have liked

If we have an option as was suggested, then we should part ways.
Nothing I've seen inspires me to believe he is the man to take us forward.

I guess that's where we differ, I've seen and heard plenty to suggest he has what it takes to take us forward. The ability to make the tough decisions regardless of fan backlash is the main plus for me.

That will pass next year …. Team selection is perplexing and positional movements during the match baffling ... As was seen last Sunday.

What will pass next year is the negative influence and inability to play to the coaches plans… We are left with what we have now due to a bloke that can't toe the line. So if it means the coach being able to employ his structure without anyone working against him solely because he thinks he is a club legend and thinks he knows better for him and not the team, then that's fine with me. Win lose or draw.

…. Should that eventuate, he will be judged on his results .... If it's the lose or draw scenario he cannot be re-signed just because he was able to drop Farah to reserve grade .... If we are not in the top eight in 2017, the club must look elsewhere.

They both need to be rid of.

I don't want any of the defensive coaching staff here in 2017 either.

And no former players as coach or assistant coaches. Can we please end this boys club bullshit once and for all.

Mark O'Neill is on borrowed time too. Do something useful, helpful, productive and positive you spud, or clear out and let a professional do the job properly.

The club's treatment of Farah says that they have contempt for loyalty, so use that for the good of the club in all areas.

Which means Warren McDonnell needs to be moved on as well. The sooner the better.

I think a lot of Robbie supporters chose the "get rid of both option"
I think no matter who's side you're on everyone has had enough of it and both going and us starting with a clean slate looks like a good idea right now.

According to the survey thus far option 1 (15%)and 4 (35%)indicate that 50% of people here want Taylor out. Option 2 (43%)and 4 (35%) combined show 78% want Farah out. Pretty easy get rid of both.

I wont name sources, but i do believe i have been a forum contributer that has never claimed false info, or tried to know more than what i actually do.

So that being said, this is what i know.

The playing group is behind JT. Yes, Robbie may have mates who want him in the team, but even those mates see why he's dropped.

Taylor tried time and again to tell Robbie that he can attack but STOP taking 2 or 3 steps before u pass the ball. Farah could NOT do this. Such a simple request. When u see a chance, ok go, but otherwise just give quick service.
The fact he couldnt do this proves Taylor is right.

It is also well believed within the club and playing group that Farah has taken all this to the media, and dragged it through the mud.

So in short, if u got any money, back JT, because no one is backing Farah.

OK so then punt Farah that is fine, but why the 3 player shuffle to get a player who should not be in the 17 any way in at hooker, just pick a hooker for gods sake.

So Farah getting dropped is purely on not following instructions, which JT took till round 20 to do something about. It has got nothing to do with salary cap, or robbies $900k, or to get him to move on somewhere else. :brick: :brick:

Look i dont doubt some of it has to do with salary cap. But Taylor tried to do the right thing and gave Robbie so many chances to change his style but he couldnt follow coaches instructions. He couldnt do it as a 15 year old playing Harold Matthews and he still cant.

Taylor needs to find a better replacement than what he currently has, no one doubts that. However, dropping Farah is spot on.

JLJ needs to play

JT gave him an Origin series without distraction, once those commitments were complete..he acted.

Oh so SOO is more important than holding a player accountable for not listening to the coachs instructions. So ensuring Farah played origin was more important than the tigers winning games. Because according to JT farah does not really work well with our halves and he is picking the team based on who would give us the best chance of winning.

I would not be suprised if you have a JT shrine at your house, with candles and a bowl of fruit in front of his statue lol.
