Sue has a lot of work to do IMO. He drops off tackles that should be made and has a loose carry in him. For me he misses out early in the season until he can improve this.

Hard to name a team as we don't know if Teddy and Nofo will be fit enough for selection.

However, I'm really starting to think Nofo need to be considered as a right Centre.

From this weekend Naqaima and Santi have moved into calculations.

I wouldnt say anyone has played their way into the team but i have put the pen through a couple.

Luani is mediocre.

Hoeter is timid and nowhere near ready. Not this year.

Also Fine while very solid is every bit a future back rower to me, cant see him having a long career in the centres.

Well you can just about guarantee that Pat Richards will be in the side.

Slow?
Liability?

Yet the coach picks him in a quickfire 9's comp.
Lawrence and Richards will start in round one, barring injury.
Their spots to lose, I think.

My fingers are crossed for a kind season injury-wise, only so as I can see what selections Taylor makes. Not selections he is forced to make because of no top 25 player availability.

I don't think nofo will be fit but teddy will be. Sirro finished the season poorly and hasn't begun full training yet, he starts in reserve grade for mine. At the open concord session sue was playing right second row and was wide in his 9s games, I think that's where Taylor will use him.

The more I look at these line ups the more I shudder. Lots of kids mixed with some genuine plodders like Lawrence, Halatau and Galloway.

And these are full strength sides!! Imagine when we get a few injuries. They might surprise us but its a tough comp when you have kids + plodders and a new coach.

if i assume teddy and noffo are fit to play,i would like to see if naiqama is up to centre during the trials.

backrow i want to see how lio and santi go during trials.
sue and sirro haven't impressed me the last year so it is open to be taken.
koala needs to get alot better to force his way in.don't like his defense at all.
halatau has a good shot if the ruck is as quick as advertised by the nrl.

galloway,you now have more pressure on your starting spot since you came here and spent time in reggies.

been a while since i have been this eager for trials.

absolutely,but you can see how how players react when defending in space.
centres and wingers will be in those exact positions during the season and you can get a good feel for how fast they react and what decisions they make .

generally good defenders do so no matter the competition.
i would prefer taylor start the season with the best defensive group and work on the offensive side as the season progresses.

there are a heap of spots up for grabs.
