Not sure how many people we need to drop this week but two obvious changes imo are anybody for Nofo and Simpkin for Liddle.

I would like cini in his place tho, simpkin i think will come off bench for liddle

Cini would get slaughtered , he is not 1st gde standard in any regard.

Why exactly? he has been killing it in reserves, which is the same criteria people have been using to judge Simpkin and they want him in grade

Different rules apply depending who you’re a fan of ?

Mate there is a headache coming Madges way in regard to putting CC players above NRL fgers...
Firstly if Madge took our advice he would be out the door next week....he knows who is ready for the top spots and who is not...all the wraps on Simpkin the hooker are validated,if he was ready dont you think Madge gets him in...Laurie is a superstar in the making but isnt a Teddy yet by a mile,however he is developing and doing well...D/H is a full on position that is demanding and ***if Simpkin was ready he would be in...he is not quite ready...***

Unfortunately Liddles performance is such that Simpkin needs to be ready now.

Honestly I think Madge rates Simpkin a lot,but I think he is giving him more time to develop his game..and according to many he is doing fine...Liddle may still be trying to gel with LB,AD,and DL....just my thoughts,,,

Madge could learn a lot from reading the forum..we are after all ...the brains trust.

We were all against giving Nuffoaluma a huge contract extension and I for one was happy if he pissed off to Parra .

But not old mate Madge , Pascoe and go go gadget man ..

They haven’t got a clue !

Play Brooks at 9 and Madden at 7.. I think 9 would suit Brooks he tackles and passes well, is fast and simplifies his game as well as gives us another kicking option? Thoughts?

I agree and I didnt want him given such a long term either....
But lets look at the core problem.....
Noffa....Brooks both juniors and passionate about the club...both offered long term contracts....both showed potential and were worthy of extensions ....its the length that I disagree with...

Time to get Simpkin in at Lock, he can give Liddle a spell at times as well. Locks are moving away from just being another prop, we need to keep up with the times, that's another reason we're being left behind.

Move Roberts to the wing, Nofa can go to Knock On Cup and let in tries there. 4 years, that's a shocker.

I think I’d give Brooksy a stint in reggies, Doueihi to captain, Madden and Simpkin in and I’d be upgrading Tuilagi. If the youth policy is what we’re going with let’s have a crack.

How does Nofoaluma stay in the team?

If obstruction goes the other way we’re probably calling him a two try redeemed hero.

Edit: had a Barry but all wingers do from time to time and it was mostly off kicks (element of luck)

Hey Boss, in earlier posts i was all for Cini, but after seeing him in the last two games , i just don't think he is good enough. I hope i'm wrong because our backline needs a talent injection.

If the speed of the game increases and we move back to a traditional lock, we could be trendsetters in the NRL and end up with

Doueihi at 13 ball playing half/lock
Madden at 7

I would be looking at Ogden and the other Flegg centres for centre spots. in the future. Scolari to me was always more impressive than Cini and Jordan Hill has size and pace. Josh Rizk is on the bench for Flegg this week.

Sadly Jordan Hill our left winger who has always impressed me this year has done his ACL. Damn shame but he'll come back next year.

If you were to analyse the Flegg tries against us this year you will see very few have been scored down our right edge. The amount of tackles Ogden and particularly Scolari (as a winger - bit too small & should be a lock or centre in my opinion. He knows how to hit and hit hard) do each game is quite astonishing. Not saying they could do this at NRL level but if you go through the tapes as Chops does, he will no doubt mention how well they have been defending so far this year - 'just doing their job'. Of course you need to do more than just defend but it certainly helps!

Given his hat trick, we could do worse than give Dillon a run on the wing although he is rather small and may struggle under the high ball under the new rules. He does have blinding speed off the mark and his defence is usually quite sound if he doesn't go for the intercept. He certainly has the talent.
