Balmain boy needs glasses if he thinks Lawrence pllayed well.Aloiai for Lawrence in my opinion and anyone u like in the centres as long as its not Kev.Id go with Fonua we need some grunt on the left side seeing as we have no speed

Can’t say I agree with you regarding Lawrence but I’m not worried as every judge who knows anything about footy (coaches, assistant coaches etc) has Lawrence in their team (and in their leadership group) (and captain of that leadership group) but hey you’re entitled to your opinion.

I do think Fonua for Kev has merit. Fonua’s problem on Saturday was the high ball and if he moved one in he is somewhat protected from that. Not sure his defence would hold but his grunt in attack would be good.

What about Fonua in the middle a benchy for the backrowers?

Was thinking that myself. With a bit of a rest either side of half-time, he could be tough to handle. He's a little nugget!

1\. Lolohea
2\. Thompson
3\. Marsters

11\. Lawrence
12\. Rochow
13\. Taylor

It's a harsh call dropping MWZ, but I think Nofo deserves the spot.
I'd honestly be a bit more comfortable with Mcilwrick at hooker, but Godinet played well against the rorters, and he's also quite versatile, so I'd be keeping him there for another game.
I also think that Fonua would be the best for the other spot in the centres, though I'm not entirely convinced on him.

If the Storm score down Nofo's side what will we be saying
I would give him more time in ISP
Make him real hungry for his spot
I wouldn't give it back that easy

This is exactly right there is no point dropping him for one game and saying welcome back when those in the top grade have done no wrong. Make him earn his spot through consistent good performances not just one. It’s easy to prove a point once not so much to do it multiple times.

No, he earns his spot like everyone else.

Rochow and MCK were both good and will stay. Lawrence the least impressive but eh's captain and won't be dropped anytime soon.

Ridiculous. Aloiai is our best backrower and should be close to the first person picked.

He's not our best back rower.

Cleary will stay loyal to those who played so well for us against the Roosters. 1000%

Are you kidding? Who is a better back rower than Aloiai?

Taylor

1\. Thompson to fullback, Lolohea to 5/8, Benji to 14 Nofo back in the team. (just a thought)

2\. Anyone who doesnt think Josh Aloiai is a very special player isnt watching closely enough.

nup…..sorry, we are a far better defensive team without nofo atm...

hopefully the team is unchanged apart from aloiai possibly coming in

I’ve said before I’m not a fan of Kev. I loved his passion in the World Cup - it was special and I love his passion for the Tigers. But I just don’t see what he brings to the team. He has not offered much in attack for a long time and his defensive flaws are well documented. I totally trust Ivan’s judgement so I’m happy to be told I’m wrong - can anybody tell me the upside of Kev at number 4 for us?

I just want people to know that I was the first one to say we should give Eisenhuth a shot in first grade. You can all praise me now.

Disagree. Love Taylor but think Aloiai could end up being one of the best backrowers in the comp if he remains injury free.

Rochow is the number one at the moment.

Agree Aloiai has that "x factor" about him plus a bit of mongrel our pack has lacked over the years.

We need him to be injury free to bring out his best.

Rochow and Chee Kam have both played well and deserve to retain their positions.

Taylor is a tackling machine which all teams need.

Great position to be in with players fighting for a spot.

Thompson, Eisenhuth and Twal keep their spots as they are in a few of my Fantasy League sides…Sue, Sironen and Fonua can feel unlucky tho..

Wow! I hope you’re having a laugh! .? 😕

Nope we need points to beat the Storm my side put 30 past the Dogs…performance should be rewarded...Quadja and Gamble would tear the Storm a new one...

Agree %100 MWZ deserves a second game also, yes he made a couple of bad decisions but he also dug in aswell.
If he makes poor reads again this week and it costs us then maybe.
But Nof needs to as you said get hungry and earn it.
