We HAVE to have a kicker, Rankin is unfortunately the best at the club….....I think we also HAVE to have JAC playing. I seriously want to see how he and Teddy go when breaks are made between the 2.

The only options are Rankin in for Frozone or Rankin in for Nofo.
 
Really not sure on my team and could change my mind 5 times between now and then. Don't envy JT his job because this is the hardest selection to get right in my mind with Teddy and the origin players coming back

In the backs it will be Simona with some combo of Nofo, Rankin, Naquiama, Chee-Kam and Ado-Carr and be hoenst I can make a good case to pick or not pick any of them

In the hooker,utility - my head tells me to pick Ballin after last night because his service was a step above esp given it was his first game but then do I drop Farah or bench him or even just rest him after Origin and save the decision till the week after. I don't know

All this and I know I'm dropping JJ Felise who was one of the best for the tigers last night and to mine really came of age and it feels crazy to be letting a 20 year old prop who is blitzing it in FG be dropped esp as a Tigers supporter

Rankin should stay not just that he's a goal kicker but on form…..same goes for Ado-Carr. I believe Simona should make way IMO. Think Lovett in front of JJ also.

yeah Rankin has been playing well enough to earn his point, true. Happy for Lovett in for JJ as well…..........can't believe how much Lovett has improved. Got some options there.
 
I dont think Rankin has earnt his spot over others at all. He's been ok, but you can see the play breaking down as soon as he gets the ball. He does a little jump in the air that slows everything up and then has a little side step much like Dean Collis'. Its innefective. Give me Nofo, JAC, Naqaima and Simona anyday over him. If he was kicking at 85% then you would think about picking him, but no way he can stay in the team for mine. JT will keep though.

Its going to be a headache for jt to whom he does play. For mine they all have flaws and I get the bunny hop he does and it is innafective but Simona's bomb of that try last night was abysmal. Just when we could have went out to a 20-8 lead.

Agree will the slowing the play down with that little jump he does. Nofo, Naqaima, Simons offer so much more and JAC has to stay.
Can E.Taylor kick. He seems to be able to do everything else, if not Moses should start spending some time in front of the posts. We can't afford to carry Rankin just for his kicking

Been a long time since we have been in a position where we have to leave some good players out of the top 17.

I think it is either Nofo,Kev or Rankin who will get the chop and most likely Nofo plus Deano in the forwards
 
First decision has to be: who is our goal kicker?

If Farah and Ballin are both fit, does Sirro deserve a spot more than Halatau?

Halatau is more versatile than Sirro so I think Halatau deserves a spot on the bench over Sirro.

Got my numbers wrong. With Woods and Farah back, you could leave both out if you wanted.
