Your Tigers Team vs Sydney Roosters

Depends on how many minutes ballin can squeeze out. Tough decision between Halatau and Lovett. The more minutes ballin can play the less attractive dean becomes, it's probably his last week as Lovett can play tight and replace et who goes to hooker to relieve ballin. Woods might be played off bench if he is gassed from origin.

farah can play nsw cup as a backup to liddle

I bet JAC get the flick, I say Taylor will stick with the regulars, he has every other week unless injuries or rep selections has forced his hand. It would also indicate that he is off to Melbourne at the end of the season. Anyway lets hope I am wrong

I think the first person to post (Regan) selected a good side. With the Rep players on the bench and a Goalkicker in the starting side. Teddy comes back to fullback so one Back drops out. I agree it should be one of the right side backs (Nofo or Kev). As this is where we have our major problem in defence. I'd pick Rankin either at centre (replacing Kev) or taking Nofo's wing spot. He can't do any worse in defensive reads on the right edge, than what we have had so far this year.
The rest of the starting side stays pretty much the same. Other than Ballin to start, Robbie= bench and Halatau dropping out. Woods takes JJF's position on the bench.

JJ must be in there somewhere.

I reckon he should be as well but maybe it's better to only play him this season when required. We have a tonne of talent to play up the middle.

We need to though already start basing our future front row around this guy. Woods, Ava, Sue and Felise are a great front row rotation.

Lawrence and Lovett add nothing in attack or defence so it's an easy decision to dump them. Ballin suits our style of play better than Farah. Naiqama goes because Rankin has to be in there to kick goals. We need someone to kick goals

I assume you're trying to get a laugh out of people by dropping Lawrence :crazy

Especially when your replacing him with Sironen.

For once this team is easy to pick! The only difficult part is deciding who to leave out in the backs and forwards rather than who to drop….I think Nofo keeps his spot, only just over Rankin, but he has to lift to keep it. I also think Dene misses out, despite his experience, and JJ will have to bide his time. Ballin's service from dummy half and settling influence should gain him the starting hooker position. Robbie has greater skill but he is coming back from injury and could have a nice impact role off the bench. Finally, I disagree with other people and think you need to have the impact at the start of the game so I've gone with Ava and Sue starting ahead of Alouai and Grant.

Coming back from the shops tonight the conversation with my wife was who to drop out of the backline when Teddy comes back in. I'm leaning towards Nofauluma, Mrs Zaretti thinks Naiquama. We'd rather keep both. We agreed that if Moses was able to kick, it would be a no brainer and we'd just drop Rankin. That seems harsh too, because Rankin's had such a hard crack at everything the Tigers have asked of him. He's the 2016 Blake Austin.

It's a nice problem to have. It's only a few weeks ago that the Tigers were forced to run Nathan Milone, now we actually have too many backs. We may not see Chee Kam for a while unless someone is injured.

From memory we have a poor record against the Roosters and they always seem to out muscle us.

I would like to see us fight fire with fire. Need a big pack and big bench. No second hooker required this week. ET can pick up some of the slack (he does everything else)

Pack

ET
Lawrence
Aliola
Ava
Ballin
Grant

Bench

Lovett
Woods (needs a break)
Sue
JJ Felise

Would give Farah a rest after origin and let ET play a bit of hooker.

No space for Dean (too small)

I would drop Noffo to allow Rankin a wing spot and goal kicker.

If Moses can kick then drop Rankin.

fan of Simona but he needs to give us more. Should have scored a double.

JAC has earnt a spot for the rest of the year IMO.

Still keen to see what Rankin can do at #6.

A win against Roosters is more than important because we play a number of the top teams in the following rounds. Leave Farah out of this weeks team and let him prepare for the run in to the finals.

I would certainly leave him out. This week and next. And the next after that.

I beleive we are short 1x quality edge backrower (#11) who can play long minutes strike some fear into teams. Someone like (Joel Thompson, Jason Bukuya, Luke Lewis all off contract) would be handy especially if we offloading sironen as rumoured.
We obviously need a proven goal kicker (centre) too!! (Bryson Goodwin would solve half our issues)

Think best team we can field next week and moving forward is;
1\. James Tedesco
2\. David Nofoaluma

Kevin unlucky to miss out. But he needs to work on his Defensive reads. I personally beleive it is more his fault then Nofoluma as Nofo has no choice but to follow him in. Until we have a better kicker, Rankin is big enough to play centre and skilled enough to setup his outside man and solves our issue of having to fit Addo-Car into the team.
