I like the idea of us signing the brother duo of Terrell & Taylan.
Terrell has looked solid in cup and could push for a top 30 contract and his brother walks straight into our backline.
Taylan seems the likeliest of the Penrith backs to drop out.... a fair contract, package deal for em and they could be ours.
I've always loved the idea of Picking in numbers....
Especially when we're trying to sign quality players from other teams
eg only - If the Tigers were trying to sign, Say.... Harry Grant....
I'd have looked to go for Harry, Cooper Johns & Nicho.
They've already got a super tight relationship and for young fellas coming up - That's the thing they'd be more worried to lose.
Harry and Nicho you can certainly use - And you'll pay for...
Cooper won't cost much and handy to have around (Especially if he helps you land the other big fish)
Same with getting blokes from England over - You've got more chance of getting a couple at the same time than getting them singularly...
Just adds a little re-assurance on top of the move.
I remember when Beau Ryan went to Cronulla - Because he didn't want to not play with Heighno...
Parra did it with Watmough - Signed a bloke who'd played almost 300 club games on the wrong side of 30 for 4 years!!
- Was never going to see out the contract, But they got Foran on the back of Watmough
- And on the Back of Forans name, They started to re-build the squad.
It certainly works - You've just gotta fight the right angle with the right fish.
