Meeting with Angus set to take place today both parties are keen

Hopefully WT can get a deal done. Know from Angus side of things that he was the one that made contact first a week or so back.

He has been relatively poor this season and he would be in the bottom 4 fullbacks in the comp.

I like the kid but I'm not sure he is the guy we need at fullback.

I hope he proves me wrong.

I have just watched our son's mother die from a terminal illness involving loss of cognitive function. The support she received from her carers, from medical professionals at St George and Calvary Hospitals was amazing. It really opened my eyes to the commitment of staff but also the desperate need for more funding.

Laurie is up for contract renewal move him on for someone better then like S Crichton or Cobbo

I don't think that there is much money in Laurie's contract.

Good for the young man. Apparently this is how the NRL wants the game. The weaker clubs now have the juniors pilfered at a very young age by expansion teams.

Two promising juniors in Lochie Galvin and Ontini Large have apparently returned to us after being lured by the Eels and Roosters respectively. I think Lochie in Harold Matthews for Wests this year.

I hope I'm wrong but my gut feeling is we will get used like normal to increase his price elsewhere.. If he approached us I hope we put an offer to him and a deadline so we are not his fall back option.. I also don't mean under's either as I would feel comfortable up to 700k
