Hope it's wrong, MAGPIE Spock is reporting our Harold Mathews prop Miller has signed with the dolphins 3 year's at 150,000 a season???

I just commented on the other thread. How can a club like WTs afford $150k albeit for a talented young player at that age. Apparently this is how the NRL want it. It's sad for the SW of Sydney because we need more young men of his quality coming through our ranks to the NRL.

Laurie has copped it badly even though he played very well last year and has improved this year after injury.

They must have offered him a development contract. It's madness but I suppose that is what they have to do.

He has been relatively poor this season and he would be in the bottom 4 fullbacks in the comp.

I like the kid but I'm not sure he is the guy we need at fullback.

So @Magpie Spock where are you getting this info? This will be very disappointing if true.

The NRL need the Dolphins to succeed and at the very least be competitive. They will be picking off everyone's talent at over inflated prices.

I have just watched our son's mother die from a terminal illness involving loss of cognitive function. The support she received from her carers, from medical professionals at St George and Calvary Hospitals was amazing. It really opened my eyes to the commitment of staff but also the desperate need for more funding.

I don't think that there is much money in Laurie's contract.
