Ben Kennedy and Cam Murray were/are two of our best forwards in RL with strong rugby backgrounds. The Thornett Bros, Ray Price, Brad Thorne, Scott Gourley are a few others who made the transition to RL and did well.

We poached heaps from union- Brass, Peter Jones,Hawthorne, etc and at least another 20 or more who were household names.

I don't want to sound negative...but I saw absolutely nothing from him. Zero.

One game he was in the clear and Reece Hoffman ran him down easily...yes, the same Reece Hoffman who failed as a back for us and ended up a Dogs state cup second rower.

So, all the "well, he has speed" talk when we signed is not true.

Honestly, the most puzzling signing I have seen. Would love someone at the club to explain how on earth he got a 2 year top 30 deal.

Will be happy to be proven wrong...but showed absolutely nothing.

If Moses leaves Parra it will be to a club with definite premiership chances. He will not take on a rebuild club at this stage of his career. Maybe he takes over from Luke Keary in 2024 at the Chooks and Walker moves to no6.

It will take a few years of top four finishes before we have some real pull in the market place.

He's getting plenty of cash to play at parra. He's not coming to the Tigers.

So today is like Christmas Eve for signings, although I’m not expecting any real announcements tomorrow but we now know from tomorrow onward we can start moving forward with something a bit more concrete.

I would just like some Forward Progress from Nov 1! RIP Rex.

Your list of players only underlines the fact that most union forwards fail at converting to league.You are going back 60 years with some of those names,very few make it

I've provided a few examples. There are many more two of whom would be considered up there with the best in RL - Michael O'Connor and Taniela Tuiaki. I don't mind rugby players testing themselves nor players like Gildart who at least had a try. Houston's grandfather was a big name at the Randwick Rugby Club so I am not sure of the motivation for change.

People up in arms about him not yet re-signing need to chill. This is how negotiations work. He waits until after the world cup and November 1 and hopes his value goes up. Can't blame a guy for not jumping at the opportunity to sign for unders for the wooden spooners.

Unders? He hasn't shown enough to be paid overs.

He probably will improve but won't be for awhile.

Pretty sure I've seen a phot of Cam Murray in a Mascot Jets jumper from when he was like 5-6...
Played Rugby for sure - Could have also played Tennis? Who knows....
Don't think he was ever not going to Play footy for the Rabbits - His dad did, It's all he ever wanted to do....

Could you please provide evidence of when he has stood up for himself other than the under 20's against the Raiders when he made himself look like a right royal goose?
Alot of people spruiking on here that he is a tough nut but I like many others are yet to see any of this enforcer tag he has somehow been given.
Imho he is a myth, possibly even weaker than a gutted dog.

Agree. Lodge (when he started with us) & Blore owned him quite easily. But I think Brown can add value in other ways.

My brother knows a guy that is supposedly in the know - hope he’s wrong though.

Word on the street is that we have signed Kurt Falls and Will Smith on 1 year deals (hopefully train and trial only)
