Spoiler: cause it's not true. Pascoe isn't a $$$$$ wizard.

Remember, this is the same guy that took how many years to appoint a football manager to distance himself from the on field results....cause Football was not his specialty.

Then, his specialty of being a football club CEO, got suspended for the RF screw up and took a chunk of the cap with it.

Don't care about this Magpies guy and if he's right or wrong. Just care that Pascoe is gone asap.

I've asked dozens of people who just blindly say that we make a profit to share the financials but they can't. WA tipped in $1m last year so maybe we don't.
I don't know either way but it's amusing how many times it gets repeated without any facts to back the claim up.

I mean, that's possible I guess. Not really much to back it up though.

I would say people would want to align with Wests cause they know it will get plenty of articles, clicks, news reports on them. Good or bad. Any publicity is Good publicity.

It's a real head scratcher. So many people keep telling us that Wests are profitable but no one has any data to back it up. It's like if they read one person say it on here, and it becomes a fact.


We need a Financial signing & Rumour Thread.

Trall the web, plenty of articles highlighting our profits and getting out of the red.

Is their a board anywhere where some one thinks they know better than the head honcho's especially when the club has been starved of success! And of course Pascoe and LH are sensitive to the criticism because they havnt got a leg to stand on if the measure of the clubs success is results on the field. Not sure why anyone would be concerned by this, especially Pascoe and Lee H who instead of making a song and dance about it should focus on the job at hand.

Of course they should make a song and dance about it, a board memeber of an entity related to the club attended a function and made an ass our of himself in front of sponsors.

It's like going to a work event and telling your customers that your company is a poorly managed joke infront of management. See how long your employment lasts, it's the same thing here.

What people seem to be missing here is that the response from Lee is a formal letter to have him removed from his position.

I hate Lee and Pascoe and think they are both useless, but in this case they are 100% in the right.

I liked that post because it's alluding to facts. It's no good stating we are profitable whatever that means. You need to show some data.

I'm also skeptical about data that has been massaged to make a corporate point. I'm reading the Expanse books right now and there is a character who always wins. It's pretty simple. You just state that whatever happened was what you wanted to happen and call it a win. Ignore all the failures.

Enjoyed the series on Amazon, are the books good? do they go on past where the tv series left off cause I felt there was more story.

Not supporting what this bloke did without being privy to what went on - sounds like he did a good enough job of screwing himself on his own. In the aftermath just looks like LeeH deflecting from the issue that he and Pascoe are not devoid from being accountable in the eyes of those invested in the club, and using his legal background to ride roughshod over this bloke just looks like more grandstanding IMO.

I said there are heaps of articles online
in relation to the club making a profit.
I'm not wasting time searching them
or giving anyone a breakdown, thanks
