Keep the half that was actually running the showHe tried to sign Moses and Munster. Both said no. What else do you want him to do?

Hastings is a game manager but he's more like Chad Townsend. Organise but slow as.He had one right in front of him
Those were for 2024.He tried to sign Moses and Munster. Both said no. What else do you want him to do?
Your right. Sorry Naden might be a centre but he's a bad one. So much talent but his defence and handling is abysmal.Halves ? We haven't had a legit one in years.
Centres? Also an issue.
Our best one of the last few years we played on wing last year (Naden)
Haven't had any genuine centres in ages.
These fools can't put a roster together.
Other way around. Simpkin trained at 7 in the off season. You dont move your best to accommodate another position, thats nuts. Sheens already tried that in the Farah at 7 and Rowdy at 6 days.Do you play Api in the halves and have Simpkin as 9?
The Sharks have two god halves in reserves. Your right. The coaching staff should of sorted this. It's on them now. 0-7 and excuses. Politicians spin more rubbish than this lotThose were for 2024.
What else? Get a steady / solid half for 2023.
Dolphins took the kid from Penrith when he lived 30 mins away from us.
EVERY team in the comp has at least one decent half. Sharks have four.
He should have identified it as a priority for 2023.
Even with Hastings we would likely be 3 and 4 now, maybe even 4 and 3.
I agree with you mate, I am just running out of ideas, and it seems the coaching staff are too.Other way around. Simpkin trained at 7 in the off season. You dont move your best to accommodate another position, thats nuts. Sheens already tried that in the Farah at 7 and Rowdy at 6 days.
The reality is Brooks was gone mentally last season...and gone from the club. The Sharks have two god halves in reserves. Your right. The coaching staff should of sorted this. It's on them now. 0-7 and excuses. Politicians spin more rubbish than this lot

Maybe, Sheens may have in the front row though. We know he's not a halfback....Yes and couldn't get him to Newcastle quick enough. If Hastings was still here and Sheens actually picked him we certainly would not be 0-7
Do you play Api in the halves and have Simpkin as 9?
Nothing is unbelievable with Sheens. The reality is Brooks was gone mentally last season...and gone from the club.
It is almost unbelievable that Sheens said "not so fast...I saw something in 2017 that I think I can reignite in Luke'.
Run around in slow motion...not sure what to do....that is basically exactly how Benji played. We know the halves are atrocious, but our attacking structure is the worst I’ve ever seen. Run arounds multiple times a set in slow motion?
People complained about Madgeball but even Taylorball is significantly better than this.
He got rid of hastings who should’ve been our 7.He tried to sign Moses and Munster. Both said no. What else do you want him to do?
But to be honest, as poor as they are I’d stick with these two for now…really would be just trying to fill in as many positions as we think will be there long term. Only saw second half but with talau leaving, I’d keep To’a at right centre and Naden at left centre, bula fullback and Tupou and Staines the two wings…really feel like you’ve got 15 out of 17 positions mostly sorted (centres aren’t great). Bummer about those last two positions…no good options this year unfortunately. Maybe Diane Laurie in for Wakeham I guess…
