I would love to see Ellis back here....I showed my eldest a video of Ellis playing for us on youtube last night and he was shocked....my boys said "Dad we were really good when Ellis was with us"

Really?!? He is currently assistant coach at Hull FC who are coming 9th and are 10 from 22. Bringing the best players back to coach isn't how we are going to win. Everyone just likes the idea of it ....

Completely agree,his attitude is something that we sadly do not have (Api excepted).I am not bagging Benji/Robbie as they also have it but Ellis always had one of the most competitive attitudes that i have ever seen.

I completely disagree with you. That isn't my style. It may be yours but it isn't mine. In my opinion you are often better off taking the hard path in life and external rewards are meaningless. I can state this from a position of privilege where I have a house to live in and food on the table but that isn't the level we are talking about with professional sportsmen.

I don't understand the lonely comment. The only sports I do are hobbies and I'm pretty crap but I'm also 50. I don't compete competitively. I feel I've done exceptionally well in life in relation to having a great family and friends. I love alone time and I definitely don't feel lonely.

The real reason he left - Nick showed him a photo of Donny Osmond and told him "sign with us and we can get your teeth looking like Donny free of charge". Teddy, however thought the photo was of Don Lane.

Teddy being a myth has to be one of the worst takes i've seen on this forum... His decision to leave the Tigers has been proven to be totally justified to most sane people when you look over his career and what he has achieved.

It is good to see the heat being applied to Souths now...Pride of the league indeed....worst take in the history of rugby league in my opinion.
