Contentious lineup Tito, but does anyone have news on Staines being resigned or cut? He's not listed in zero tackles '24 lineup.

26 is a MO (mutual option) technically he’s contracted until 25 unless the club or Klem decide to trigger it.

If we could get AFB for 200k more than Klemmer for 2025 would you take it ? Also think luai at 1.3m is a waste of money.. let's put faith in and properly develop the young halves we've got.. spend that money on the best 19-22yr old centre and a backrower.. Bateman and Ipap might be needing a rest by then and our need for an x factor centre is crucial.. there's got to be someone out there. Maybe Iro ?

AFB has a much bigger "gas tank" the JFH. Addin can play 80 minutes if needed. JFH has it over him in the intimidation and the enforcer role of a front rower though.

Does he? I guess I didn't watch the Warriors much this year, everytime I have seen AFB play he was used in 20 or 30 mintue stints.

Also Bula has potential and all but he’s not starting in many other nrl teams. Probably gets a start at the dogs and knights. Hopefully he has a big season for us in 2024

This kid is a freak and he is playing in a league that is miles beyond the level of the NRL. He is 19 and killing it.

We need to pray that Fainu. Galvin and Sullivan come into the league and have real elite level ability.

Agreed. I hope they really try and get him. We need elite level junior talent on our edges - backrowers and centres.

I am pretty sure that it was mentioned on here that we were after him but the last update was the situation had gone a little cold. Let's wait and see who they get but I really hope we take the approach of targeting elite junior centres & backrowers.

I was very pleased this news was announced. I believe he will continue to develop his game with the ball and the high work rate is always welcome. It is not a coincidence when a break is made he is in the vicinity to back up or get to the loose ball in defence. I know it is fashionable to have a go at him but he costs us little and after reading this article he is a fan of Marshall. Let's hope our other local juniors are of the same mind.
