To be fair, even the strongest clubs have players on Top 30 deals who are not first-grade quality/don't have much or any upside.You have to cut players free when they haven’t shown first grade capability on a consistent basis.
Players 25-30 you should have journeymen who you believe have lacked opportunity or young players with plenty of upside. Not blokes who have had heaps of chances and failed.
Sometimes they're just decisions based on potential or promise that don't come off.
