Its been on...off...now apparently back on again.

I tend to agree with MM , Luai hold the key if we snare him things may fall into place, but as usual its "always next year" or 2025

Nothning closesly resembling a decent outside back has been linked with us, maybe OLams our only shot

The club has the option of playing him in reserve grade.

To me he isn’t the best option because he requires a tonne of work and it’ll all be for nought as he is leaving next year. I highly doubt he’ll perform well enough this year to cause us problems if we don’t select him.
I don’t know the young blokes well enough to supply names but surely there’s a project player available that can take his place. Until then, we have experienced guys on roster that I’d put ahead of him.

It's scary to think how Woolf as tongan coach can speak with a stack of up n coming talent.
Tongan/Samoan internationals are a great pool at club level.

Man I wish Woolf was coach for 2023. Heck I wish anyone else was coach in 2023.

Look, Reggie's on the wing if Waqa shows the right attitude may be a goer.

If were talking outside the cap, do it. Inside cap space. NO WAY. We have signed way too many people.

Olam -> Blore needs to be done. I am even thinking that Sullivan or Luai may have to play center were that short on backs. I am 100% behind Naden to fire but that guy breaks easily and plays rough as we want him to play, he won't be playing all season.

We had a right to make a counter-offer but were outbid by the Dolphins!

Nothing shonky like Taupau - Matterson - Aloiai etc who all broke their contracts to move to greener pastures!

You sound like a bunny boiling jilted ex!!

How about we just treat him on merit while contracted to the Tigers like any decent professional organisation would???

Navren Willet on one wing and the big NZ rugby player on the other ,, cannot possibly do worse than The Noff has done for the last couple of years

Agreed with everything you have said, except we won't be able to treat him on merit.

We are down a first grade back. no Nofo, or hopefully no nofo.

We have:
Bula
Staines
AJ Kepaoa?
Toa
Naden

No injury cover if we exclude Tupou. I want us to pick on Merit. Merit is good. Nope, we have to pick the people we can lock down to a position. No choices.
We won't be able too. I think we will need to move Staines to the centers and pair Toa/Tupou on the other side.

I wish people would stop putting Flippers in as centre of their nrl side, it’s freaking me out man. 🤯🙈
And Nathan merit hasn’t played in ages, but I’m with ya he’d be better than flippers.
Unless that’s ya reserve grade side and in that case I think you’re a little rough on Bula, I thought he went ok this year.

In all seriousness, if AJ is in the centres we are in a little trouble. Good bench backup. Will spend plenty of time in Cup.
