OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The craziest thing about the big four is that the only player who didn't seem to completely cheat the club was Brooks. Moses tanked the remander of his career at tigers than ran to his role at parra. Woodsy, did a woodsy, and Teddy went to the roosters and leveraged of the insane team they had. Brooks stayed through with us, although on huge money, and seemed pretty loyal till the end putting up with all sorts of hate.
When they discovered Brooks was made of steel the other clubs went to great lengths to bury their magnets

Galvin better get his head around playing 13 heading forward because once Latu and Luai get together in the halves he will be a distant memory. I for one am excited to see Latu come back and rip in and let Galvin either learn his trade in KOE or piss off. Latu is the answer!
These quotes show the difference in character

"I really want to get that starting position, but whatever Benji needs, I'm willing to play any position, even if it's to stay at 14," Fainu told Zero Tackle last week.

"I just want to do my job for this team. I don't mind where I play, I do want to play at half but at the same time whatever Benji needs me to play.

"I'm willing to play any position for this team. If Benji needs me to go play wing, I'll go play wing.

"At the same time, I'm just going to be working hard for this team."

The comments Luai made sounded very promising. I think he's on a mission from God.
Luai is one of the best signings WTs has ever made. Obtaining him from such a powerful club was a masterstroke especially when I have no doubt Ivan thought he would stay for the team. Whatever way you look at it, the WTs will have a very powerful fullback, 5/8, half and hooker combination moving forward with clear pathways for the talented youngster coming through.

I think we give this kid a good old fashion booing next home game when he takes the field

It’s turned David faffita around from joining the roosters and it prevented Payne hass from leaving the broncos

It’s a delicate situation it could really brake the kid but I hopefully it makes him realise he isn’t bigger than the club

I must admit it would be hard to boo him he has been great for us this year
No way in the world should anyone Boo our best prospect in a decade.

Upgrade and extend him.

Totally agree, and the best 5/8 hasn't even had a run yet, Galvin is fortunate that Latu is injured. If Latu had been fit and able to start the year Galvin would be running around in Flegg.

I'm pretty sure his mother probably said it as a bit of a joke, but you would have to think that there might be a bit of history behind it.

This bloke is kidding himself. He honestly thinks that we believe hes got the shits because WTs have brought players that are bloking his pathway. Sorry Lachy who's blocked your pathway? You've had the red carpet rolled out for you. You just want to win straight away. Hope Richo stays strong on this 1 and makes him stay.

The use of the word "unwavering" suggests an orchestrated campaign to overburden WTs' administrative processes and so wear down the club to obtain a release. Anasta's use of "take pride in the way I handle my players" certainly is a backhander at Galvin's manager. I don't like to be critical of families but I know my father and mother would expect me to honour a contract. Has the club sought legal advice with regards to "unwavering" as at some point some kind of relief from this behaviour should be available in fulfillment of Galvin's binding contract eg no better example is Luai and Penrtih expecting him to fulfill his contract with no early release.

@paw
This is what happens when the child is the parents Meal Ticket. The Club has gone over and above for this kid, and he's only 18. Embarrassing.

It is very sad and I am comfortable in the knowledge the club has done everything to meet his and his parent's demands. The comment from Riccio that it is not to do with money is obscuration. There is a need for clarity and transparency on this matter. The smug comments from some in the media and this player's manager are sickening.

the dad is a stage dad I am telling you living his dreams and meal ticket off lachlan. I don't know them directly but I know people that do and they always had eyes for the bigger teams.
He can go to a stronger team after he fulfills the remaining 2 plus years of his contract at current rate. I guess the team that he is committed too will have to wait because it doesn't appear to be the WTs.
