Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

How are people falling for this crap? It had like 6 typos in it, including the name of our club. And yet some on here thought it was legit? Even after the poster admitted they made it as a gee up? It's all pure fantasy. The telegraph doesn't have high standards, but they are still higher than year 7 English...
Desperation???.

Luai brilliant half for the Panthers. He appears to love to be the dominant half with Cleary out. Big signing for WTs.
He’s been unbelievable. From a Tigers perspective geez Cleary getting injured and Luai getting an extended run at 7 has been a blessing. That question mark has completely been removed. That 1.2m a season is starting to look like fair value.

In my view, there was never any doubt about Luai and his quality. The price we paid is what it took to get him away from the Panthers. I believe it will be one of the best signings in the NRL. There will be many clubs looking on at what has happened with a "we should have chased him" view.

I never had any doubts about his quality. I did have doubts if he could run a team from 7. He’s shown he can do that and keep his individual brilliance.

Running the ball at or near top speed is the key.
Not many are willing to do it as the impact when being tackled is far greater, but the top echelon of players such as Fisher-Harris and JWH as you have mentioned and the likes of Reece Walsh, Dylan Edwards, Brian To’o are all players who almost always hit top speed quickly when running the ball.
Young Heath Mason is a player who demonstrates this trait, hence the reason I think he is one of our better up and coming players.

True, it's a real MMA/I like to be hurt kinda playing attitude.

Look running at speed really hurts the other person more then you, but I get your point. You wreck your legs and body more.

We see that this comes from training more then recruitment. Easts, Broncos, Storm can just churn out physically tough players. Cronulla also invest a lot in injury management and rehab, which gives confidence to older players signing with them (I am sure were crap at this).

Some players, could play anywhere and bring that Gutsy style with them. Others really need that environment to build and maintain it. We need to get our training right on this one and IMHO were so behind.
