I am obviously a bit different I though our forwards weren’t that bad except for the may try. It was our outside backs that were really poor, Doueihi and faatape coming in all nite like last week was outlet major problem. The rooters saw them last week and attacked them all nite. Bad coaching to one not identify it at training and two to not run Fainu and stef at their midget halves all day is just beyond me. Bunji talking about JWH all week is fine but behind the close doors I am telling them to run at the halve.

Exactly. Down by 20 in 8 mins and you immediately take the forwards battle out of the game and start playing catch up football.

Put down the stats sheet, watch the events on the field.
 
I've read many of the posts here, but not all. Obviously there are some on this forum supporting Steff and others who want him gone. That's all good - it's what a forum is.
FWIW, I think Steff has above average ability and can be a damaging front rower on his day. But 'his day' is never against the big packs with tough front rowers. If he was ever going to be 'our Payne Hass', he should have be salivating at the thought of taking on Lenui, Collins and JWH and showing that he belongs in that company.
He didn't. He did nothing to show he's their equal. A fair dinkum, elite, tough front rower would have taken these guys on - got crunched, picked himself up and gone at them again and again and again. That's when you earn respect. That's when you show you are worth the big bucks. It's the stuff that JWH has been doing for a decade. It's the stuff that Beetson, Donelly, Roach and Webcke did for a decade in their era.
Of course he's not responsible for the performance of the team as a whole, but he is for his own performance.
And 54 metres in a game is pathetic.

I’m not saying you are wrong … but why do so many other clubs want him ?

I don't like that either, that is a mistake we are stuck with. If Rumours were true we tried to move klemmer on last year
Right now we can do something about making another mistake and re-signing another overpriced pillow !

Seyfarth makes more metres,hits harder and competes further, he’s been the forum scapegoat for years 🤔
Not sure if Stef is tanking or genuinely isn’t up to it ,but for 800k you want your props to go toe to toe with the big dogs.
We were outclassed in every position last night but you still expect your “marquee” players to step up,not sure if he ever reaches his potential with us .

Stef is gone … don’t worry about it …

he would have signed already if he was staying … I don’t know who is going to replace him …any ideas ? Gotta replace Ice too
