Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Whenever I think of that game, I remember how WT had just 2 or 3 finish to sets in the whole game where they kicked it into the corner to try to lock Parra in their own 20 or 30m. They came out of the sheds in the second half throwing the ball around without earning it with any hard work in the middle. They’d turn the ball over 40m out of Parras tryline and give them territory and failed to turn their middles around. Built no pressure at all. I’m not surprised they copped 60.

Reckon that game was lost before it started.
Heard plenty of our side were rushing into the game through
the crowds as they looked to be running late?

Maybe it makes a difference, Maybe not...
No different to any other job I wouldn't think.

I'd like to offer my support for Koriseau. He has been one of our best all time buys not only on the field but his influence off it.
In no way claiming to be an ITK, but got to visit the Zurich Centre a year or so back and met some of the players and the reverence with which they spoke about Api was obvious. How totally professional he was, and a true leader.

Bus broke down, car accident delay or unprofessional.

Everyone saw it
Young blokes today can get themselves into bad situations so easily be it social media someone using mobiles secretly filming in the shadows need to smarter when you're out partying sure there is a lot that do but some are so silly they would bend over forward so far, they get their heads stuck in their own cavities

It’s one thing to be filmed without your knowledge while doing something dodgy, In this case, the numbskulls were talking to the camera.

Yeah, idiots. Probably as a consequence of the drugs.

This is a tricky issue. Experimenting can be something that kids do in their early 20s. You'll need to skip that if you're a NRL player. While "finance bros" seem almost to have it as part of the job.

Given the amount they get paid, I don't think it's a tall ask. But I understand why they might dabble in it when everyone around them is. They just don't have the maturity in their 20s - easy for people in their 40s-60s to think differently.

You’d think this would be part of their media/public relations training. Don’t do stupid stuff in front of cameras?

Sydney Roosters chair Nick Politis has declared that he would tear up the contract of any player on his roster if they are caught using illicit substances such as cocaine. 😃😃😃

The good old Roosters, double standards as always.
Not so long ago the likes of Fittler, Fletcher and Jake Friend who is still currently on their coaching staff could all do whatever they liked and it was always a blind eye approach.
Just like the Bulldogs they are both despicable clubs based on double standards and the sooner more players understand and realise it the better.

It was probably hammered (pardon the pun) into them all the way through their youth by parents, coaches and club seminars surely this switches the light bulb on your right though when you look back when we were younger there's usually some dumb decision made.

He also said he would "probably" tear up the contract of any player referring to a member of the the public by means of a cephalopodic slur.

Uncle Nick looks like he has taken a new stance illicit substances. It was only last year one of their players had a rather bad reaction to something nasty. Of course nothing was said and was swept under the carpet. Than you can wind the clock back a few years and everyone was talking about the Chooks and what they were up to.

I guess while they are winning trophies it’s okay, but when they fall in a slump or need a excuse to move a player or two it’s not okay

He threatened lawsuits against anyone suggesting anything untoward at the time.... The RL media closed up shop on it tight as

Didn't see that, though it is unsurprising, and certainly doesnt help stop partying youngsters partaking in what is a common part of growing up.

Use of social drugs is not at significantly higher levels than it has been for many years. Sure, evolving difference in the styles used over the decades, just as it is for the different types of alcohol consumed. A drug that is often drunk in conjunction with other types, and remains the most destructive to society here in Australia
