His right hand?Richo says he has the galvin situation “in hand”.
Let’s see
Plenty will drop this year.Surprised we have no outside of the club signings starting in 26 leaving it a bit late.
What's "trade bait" - he can go wherever he wants when his contract expires and the club he goes to doesn't have to trade anything for his signature. The only way i see Galvin staying is if he has a phenomenal year with Luai and we at least make the finals.
Other than that i think he will go, he's already proved he's indecisive about things one day he's trying to get players to stay the next agitating for a release.
If he hasn't signed on by November i would say we would use him as trade bait for 26.
The only couple of positives in this is we've yet to see Latu injury free he could be anything and Sullivan with Bennett in his ear. We could yet see Bennett turn him into something, he's not had a proper coach until now.
Good to see there trying to reset from within but where did they get them from other NRL development clubs juniors? They do it because they can. It's called competitive advantage, and theirs is being able to attract talent to the club.
It could be the down year you're hoping for but it won't be for long.
They've lost a tonne of experience for this season, and will be relying a lot on their kids. Difference being they're roosters kids.
Toia, Elliot, Salle Va'a, Foley, Steep, etc are genuine prospects for them, not just making up the roster. And they still have several spots to fill in their top 30 for 2025. One of them most likely for Manu when he comes back.
going back to Lestrong "we have been unlucky with injuries"?Other thing I'll say is if we do get hammered with injuries again, that'll be 4 years in a row. Need to work out where we are going wrong and put a broom through the whole department and rehire some fresh blood.
Hasn't he only been head coach for one season? He has won two spoons in a row from two attempts.
The evidence is clear.
While I agree injury has played its part with us because our talent pool is fairly shallow. I agree that said talent pool has played a much larger role than the injuries.going back to Lestrong "we have been unlucky with injuries"?
Really?
I mean Really? Easts lost the cheese and most of their halfbacks.. No difference.
Newcastle had huge injury issues.
Penrith had their 5/8 playing halfback and still got the trophy. (should sign that guy *sic*)
Look sure AD has been out injured through most of 2022/2023 and parts of 2024. That doesn't change us getting the spoon.
Olam, had missed some games through injury. Now I reckon he plays a factor in setting up a strong backline... Even then I still don't see many games changing.
Our injuries have not hurt our team. Our lack of talent has, and the fact that our first grade side had too many fringe grade members.
Well that is pathetic.Personal opinion is the club sacrificed last year to give some young talent an edge in experience for this year.
Everything before that I hang on an inept management of the club.
I have a feeling it'll be Seyfarth too. That concerns me. Would've been nice to keep IP.Seyfarth I feel may get a crack at Right back row , Big Sam on left
Klemmer and May up front with Hunt as impact along with Pole
Still think Bird goes to lock
Depends how much grunt Benji goes for , bench needs a mix
Hunt , Pole ? , ?
Will be curious to see our round one team
. Zero way of qualifying such a stupid statement. You could give any other coach in the comp the same players, and probabilities are the same results would occur, this coming season will be Benji's first with a reasonable team of players in our side, amazing how many so called supporters of our club just want Benji gone, give him this season with this team to see how he goes, then if he fails with his new team, by all means criticise his coaching, win or lose.
IM SURE YOU WILL.
Sadly, talent and especially depth has been pathetic for years hard to improve with that combination see Richo added a few signings to KOE he can see the deficiency hopefully this fixes depth going forward.going back to Lestrong "we have been unlucky with injuries"?

He largely built that roster, with the exception of Api and Papi.Benji will survive on results only but let's not pretend that he didn't have the worst roster and at the worst performing club in the NRL - no finals appearances in thirteen seasons - no idea how to win, no culture of winning, and leadership that was not fitting of a professional NRL club
Its more than a one man job to turn it around and he may not see it through, but it will also take a lot more than a coach alone to turn this club around and surely we have seen enough individual targets come and go to figure that one out.
What's "trade bait" - he can go wherever he wants when his contract expires and the club he goes to doesn't have to trade anything for his signature.
He'll be gone before '26 starts. He's still got another year, yes he can sign anywhere he wants from Nov but can't leave until 27 without us letting him go early. Therefore he stays or we get something in return "trade bait"
The fact is we could have had Bellamy or Bennett coaching and we still would have finished bottom 3 in the last 2 seasons.Hasn't he only been head coach for one season?
What makes you think that Richo won't bend over like Laurel and Hardy used to unless it improves us at the time. He'll be gone before '26 starts.
It has been reported by the media and staff and fans on here who attended training sessions that he was running the show under Sheen’s guidance. On game day it was clear he was in control with Tim often sitting in the back of the box whilst Benji was front and centre barking orders into the headset. What gives you that idea - why do you think your view is the only one allowable ?
The club has been a disaster for the last ten years plus on and off the field without Benji. Cleary and Maguire built equally crap rosters - overpaid underperforming players. He largely built that roster, with the exception of Api and Papi.
He largely built that culture when here as a player.
Those excuses are weak.
Yes it isn’t a one man job and thank Christ for that….if it was he’d be a shoe in for another poor year.
I hope he has been working on his weaknesses.
Why is that a fact? The fact is we could have had Bellamy or Bennett coaching and we still would have finished bottom 3 in the last 2 seasons.
Let’s make judgment on 2025 results when we finally have a squad capable of being competitive.
