Seyfarth I feel may get a crack at Right back row , Big Sam on left
Klemmer and May up front with Hunt as impact along with Pole
Still think Bird goes to lock
Depends how much grunt Benji goes for , bench needs a mix
Hunt , Pole ? , ?
Will be curious to see our round one team

The only couple of positives in this is we've yet to see Latu injury free he could be anything and Sullivan with Bennett in his ear. We could yet see Bennett turn him into something, he's not had a proper coach until now.

What's "trade bait" - he can go wherever he wants when his contract expires and the club he goes to doesn't have to trade anything for his signature.

It could be the down year you're hoping for but it won't be for long.

They've lost a tonne of experience for this season, and will be relying a lot on their kids. Difference being they're roosters kids.

Toia, Elliot, Salle Va'a, Foley, Steep, etc are genuine prospects for them, not just making up the roster. And they still have several spots to fill in their top 30 for 2025. One of them most likely for Manu when he comes back.

Good to see there trying to reset from within but where did they get them from other NRL development clubs juniors?

I mean Really? Easts lost the cheese and most of their halfbacks.. No difference.
Newcastle had huge injury issues.
Penrith had their 5/8 playing halfback and still got the trophy. (should sign that guy *sic*)

Look sure AD has been out injured through most of 2022/2023 and parts of 2024. That doesn't change us getting the spoon.

Olam, had missed some games through injury. Now I reckon he plays a factor in setting up a strong backline... Even then I still don't see many games changing.


Our injuries have not hurt our team. Our lack of talent has, and the fact that our first grade side had too many fringe grade members.

While I agree injury has played its part with us because our talent pool is fairly shallow. I agree that said talent pool has played a much larger role than the injuries.

I have a feeling it'll be Seyfarth too. That concerns me. Would've been nice to keep IP.
Yeah I'm curious what our rd 1 team looks like. Esp the right side.
 
Benji will survive on results only but let's not pretend that he didn't have the worst roster and at the worst performing club in the NRL - no finals appearances in thirteen seasons - no idea how to win, no culture of winning, and leadership that was not fitting of a professional NRL club
Its more than a one man job to turn it around and he may not see it through, but it will also take a lot more than a coach alone to turn this club around and surely we have seen enough individual targets come and go to figure that one out.

. Zero way of qualifying such a stupid statement.
I want a head coach who has been appointed on merit. One who earned their stripes. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you wake up and realise this is a professional sporting organisation…not a bloody pub team.

Sadly, talent and especially depth has been pathetic for years hard to improve with that combination see Richo added a few signings to KOE he can see the deficiency hopefully this fixes depth going forward.

He largely built that roster, with the exception of Api and Papi.
He largely built that culture when here as a player.
Those excuses are weak.
Yes it isn’t a one man job and thank Christ for that….if it was he’d be a shoe in for another poor year.
I hope he has been working on his weaknesses.

He's still got another year, yes he can sign anywhere he wants from Nov but can't leave until 27 without us letting him go early. Therefore he stays or we get something in return "trade bait"
