unfortunately it seems as if he’s a done deal at Newcastle.Braith Anastasia just said on a podcast that he’s heard Tigers might be one of the clubs interested in Dom Young.
Chris Lawrence was also a terrible defender as a youngster. I used to call him “break even Chris” because for every try he scored he’d let one in. He was a much improved defender later in his career. So it’s possible.Look douhei has improved his defence maybe the pom can too
He won’t play in front of Turuva and I rate Skelton..Hope so for the price he is available for and how bad our depth is. Would take him instantly.
You a selector now Tito? Nice .. can you please get Hunt and TDS on a bit earlier mate,? Cheers ?He won’t play in front of Turuva and I rate Skelton..
So he will be playing reggies.

Melbourne had the collapsed Mariners, and Reds to pick a team from. From these 2 teams came Ross, Kimmorley, Kearns and Howe who were already rep players in the super league comp as well as future reps Hill, Swain and Geyer.I dunno, Melbourne did alright.
Don't know. This time last year most the forum thought he was the best winger in the world and wanting an investigation into how roosters could fit him into their cap.He won’t play in front of Turuva and I rate Skelton..

That's weird - makes it sound like we've pulled out.
EX-PANTHER EYES NRL RETURN
Taylan May has taken the first tentative steps towards a rugby league return after his management reached out to a handful of clubs to gauge their interest in the Samoan international.
May hasn’t been sighted in the NRL since parting ways with Penrith last year amid allegations of domestic violence.
However, the charges were dropped by police in March and the NRL deemed May was free to return to the game.
May put his NRL career on hold to undergo treatment at a private facility while seeking help for mental health issues but a potential return is now on the cards after his management made furtive inquiries with clubs.
Cheers ?You a selector now Tito? Nice .. can you please get Hunt and TDS on a bit earlier mate,? Cheers ?

If he isn’t announced by tomorrow, I think we’ll be a chance to be in for him but everything is pointing to a return to Newcastle for himunfortunately it seems as if he’s a done deal at Newcastle.
Yea, Reynolds would make sense... But Des has the relationship with DCE.At a guess Reynolds would be cheaper for them I’d expect
Tartak manages outside backs Makasini, Luke Laulilii, Saukuru & Feledy. I don’t think he would try to load another outside back with us and block the pathway of his other clients with us even with Feledy likely not to be retained.Young is managed by Tartak. Tigers have many Tartak clients.
Could be a case of we have sealed KPP & Young being close with KPP we are having a look at him.
We have 20 on the books for next year. I would suggest Young has more upside than Faataape, Naden & Staines. For $250K it's not a bad buy.
Skelton is on $235K & Turuva about $350K. Luke Lualili also unsigned.
Simply we don't have huge outside back depth signed past this year.
As much as I love Taylan May, the player, and would love to see him turn things around and become a success story. I just have very serious concerns about his mental health and really hope he gets the best treatment for him and his future regardless. That’s the most important thing.
I’ve got a bit of a background with working with people with mental health issues. After seeing some of his social media posts and a few things his brother said about him to James Graham regarding Terrell not even knowing which Taylan he would get day to day. I can’t shake the feeling there’s some sort of bipolar or schizophrenic behaviours occurring. I think it’s more than just a tough guy/tough upbringing persona.
This is just my opinion, but I’ve had dealings with people with these mental health conditions and they seem to look through you, not at you. Watching Taylan in videos I get that similar vibe. They have manic moments with all these grand ideas (eg. his “rap career” and big business ideas/buying and selling expensive jewellery, etc). It might come across like he likes living this gangster lifestyle. Even recently his photos in what looks like a new found religion. It all just all seems very erratic.
As I said, I could be completely wrong and would love to see him do well in whatever he does. I just hope he gets the help he needs. I’d just hate to see Terrell become implicated or have issues with the club if we have no choice but to sack his brother if there’s issues.
I also really hope that if we give him a shot, the family understands we’ll do everything we can to help him succeed, but we are a business and we have standards that have to be met.
weird one...too good for reserves, but doesn't beat Skelton or Turuva to the wing spot.Braith Anastasia just said on a podcast that he’s heard Tigers might be one of the clubs interested in Dom Young.
It's funny because at first he seemed like a good buy for the Chooks...Dom Young is looking for a new home...
