I thought Kit Laulilli was immense with his fearless ball carries setting the tone for yesterdays victory over the Roosters.
Similar to his brother, I think we are letting him go just as he is about to start fulfilling his potential .
Kit is only just starting to turn into the onfield alpha he was throughout the junior reps and I think it might be a case that we run out of patience with him too soon.
Plenty of strong performances across the park, Haywood and Attard really shining and showing snippets of their class.
Another solid game from the newly formed halves pairing of Pritchard and Huth.
Some good physicality at times from the Taotua brothers.
Standard solid games from Archie Duncombe and Leonard Plato off the bench.
Taupau-Moors was good, not brilliant but his imposing physique does certainly help at times.
Glassie Glassie in his favoured left centre position made his presence felt with sone good, standard for him aggression on both sides of the ball. Like most of young centres, he needs to tighten up defensively.
Both wingers Huahulu and Nicholas played their part and look to have plenty of upside with good height and athleticism.

Was great to see Kit running strongly. If only we hadn't put him on a top 30 deal so early and let him develop from T&T to Dev, he is the type of impact middle we need as depth now.

I also thought Max Taotua had his best game for the season so far. Made good yards with all his carries, showed exceptional hands to put Nicholas away down the wing, was strong in defence and defused some important high kicks in defence.

Kudos to Shane Sultana, has this team about to peak just at the right time imo. We have a good plan of using all 4 outside backs out of yardage, quick ptbs for Haywood to put a middle in behind the ruck for fast momentum, Attard tracking closely for any offloads and then Huth playing on the front foot on the 4th or 5th tackle.

Now the team just has to work on that period from the 60th minute when fatigue & lapses in concentration set in to allow the opposition back in. Hopefully the boys can put in close to a full 80 min effort on Saturday to secure a finals berth.

It should be a cracking game.
The Rabbitohs team has quite a few of their SG Ball team who have stepped up tj Flegg and a few of them tipped tj be pushing for regular NRL game time in the very near future.
I hope the lines of Taupau-Moors, Godinet and Glassie do not forget these Rabbitohs players that got in their faces to rub it in when winning the SH Ball game late against Wests Magpies earlier in the season.
This is the game for those 3 in particular tj really step up and asset their dominance.
It will be interesting to see if Makasini plays on the wing or maybe starts at left centre to oppose the very highly rated Rabbitohs right centre in Dayne Jennings.
