**Maguire no thanks we could do better**. Wayne would be a great choice although personally Des Hasler would be my 1st choice

So why have we appointed potter,jt and Cleary? When we could do better…unless you rate them higher than Maguire? Maguire has just turned down manly because of there facilities in the last few days. Is concord better equipped than manly?

I have seen the plans for the "new" Concord and it will be amazing but it won't be available until the 2022 season
But it is 3 years away. Concord gets torn down end of next year and then 2 years to rebuild

Just watched Bennett talking last night … it was WE WE We not I I I I even though I think the talk of Bennett at the Tigers is rubbish ..some decent journalism would be a change as the Twitter post does not reflect what was said!

Spot on Snake that was my take too. I reckon he might be with us next year. No real commitment to the Broncos imo.

I might have missed something along the way but aren't there a couple of major assumptions in your comment. I haven't seen that Manly's facilities were the reason Maguire said no to coaching them and I haven't seen anywhere that Bennet has said no to coaching WT. Unless I'm wrong I'm assuming both coaches are still in the list of possibilities.

Haven't heard, read or seen anything about Bennett not wanting to come here though.

I’ve heard him say twice this week ( once at the Broncos big presentation)that he will be coaching the Broncos next season, so I think it’s safe to say he’s boesntnesnt to coach here, as he’ll never get another chance to do it.

Go and have another look, he never said he would be coaching the bronco's next year, that is a lie.
He said we will be back next year, not I will be back next year

Yep …..he knows what works and what doesn't , a few dodgy signings as of late , but when you have so many juniors to choose from it can be hard

As Bennett wont accept anything but a Coaching job,
I’d take a wild guess that he means that very thing
Don’t bother with an apology about lying,
Just learn what a word means next time before you jump in and make a fool of yourself

The Tigers have been Blind sided by a ruthless drive to Keep Nathen CLEARY at the Panthers , Gus and co worked this out nicely as to putting them selves in a win win Position ,
Junior Signs on and Dad is targeted along the way to keep both Junior and Senior Happy , loads of money and the chance to play together .all done with no regard for damage caused on the way .
Did we or could we have stopped this , No , we were put into a corner with only one thing in our favour , a contract with our coach for 2 more years , is this contract worth anything these days , No , I don't know what's really going on behind the closed doors but one thing is for sure no real leaks from our end , who will coach us , who knows , Ivan , Wayne , Mag , Tooves , old mate , this has to be one of the worst things to happen to us but I think this will only build us up to be stronger and smarter club , CLEARY won't be our coach I think as he has caused a lot of damage to his reputation and made us look like fools , I hope we get this sorted in the next week or so , anounce our new coach anounce 2 new players ( my last email to From Pasco said we have 2 players in negotiation , it was after the others had signed , I feel for our fans , and players , the club needs to come out now and get on the front foot and put this to bed , For the Panthers , Good luck you will need it as Ivan is coming with a lot of hatred on his shoulders ,,pressure is on for them and Nathan , my Tip Panthers to run 9 th 2019 , Tigers to run 8'th

I dont see it as win win for Penrith.
They've dropped a huge amount on Nath and now have no excuse to not win a premiership.
They made the prelims this year so a grandfinal or less would be of no improvement.
If Ivan thought he had it tough with us he's in for a real shock out there.
Whats he going to say when they lose 4 or 5 in a row next year….....Cant be the roster, cant be that the club is rebuilding, cant be the players still working out combinations.
It will be a whole new ball game where the results will fall directly on him.
