Under normal circumstances it would be a solid signing. But ts a hell of a let down from almost having LM.

I'm one of the few that think this guy can play. I'll believe it when it's official though thanks.

I also agree . 3 years ago he was the heir apparent for Inglis at the back for soufs . Got injured , and never really recovered .
This is a great signing , as he can be moved to wing etc and adds flexibility to the roster .
This is a new metric people need to understand . If the interchange moves to 6 all of a sudden specialist players , or more to the point, non specialist players , are a huge boon for your team.
Hodgson was a halfback . Buderus was a half. Inglis was a centre .
That’s all I’m going to say .

A club like South Sydney know how to fold em. So I’m betting us picking up Johnston is the start of them getting both JAC and LM.
A desperate Queensland club will pick up Gagai on a subsidised contract...
