I’m no oil painting, but he’d be top 5 as far as ugliest players in the game goes.

You reckon? Doing pretty well for an "ugly" lad.

Might have something to do with the elephant trunk he's packing too ??

"Twal tops Tiger's tackle stats with one miss."

Best post of 2022 ?

I'm curious..What is the go with him..

Was our Mr reliable big minute middle .that allowed the more impact forwards to rotate...in all 3 games he has been used for minimal minutes and 2 stints

Hasn't really provided any impact off the bench.. defence while solid hasn't had any sting at all allowing both PCM and opposition to offload..

Is he carrying injury..?

Very disappointed in our bench this year. Worst impact even negative.

Or from reports here, tired of carrying the thing between his legs.

When has he ever had any impact in attack or defence? He’s like a poor man’s woods… he’s just out there plodding around.
The most ineffective lock / prop in the comp…
The fact he’s one of the first picked is a bigger problem than the boss or the 7

Very surprised. I wanted him to be our skipper this year.

He had 2 kick returns off dropouts and I've never in my life seen someone run with less intent. It was embarrassing.

Not even prop can be Payne Haas.

He's important to our squad, no nonsense worker front rower.

Barely noticed him on the field last night.

Madge has misused his for too long, playing him at lock and what not.

He's a solid front rower with super strong defence. Him and Stef are our starting front rower for the next few years for mine.

Tamou was great last night but he's done after this year. Madge needs to balance the forwards and most definitely the Bench better.

Terrible performances week in and week out this season. A worker type forward who at best allows the other forwards to play shorter minutes, plays decent defense and offers very little with the ball in hand. He is far from his best.

He doesn't make many mistakes or give away penalties. That is the only reason he keeps his spot.

Seyfarth is already heaps better than him.

He’s going to disappoint you mate - if he’s ever starting front row… we’re not going anywhere.
No nonsense toiler, should never be starting anything..,
He might make a few tackles - but he’s never hurt anyone.

Madge is not the only one used him at lock… he works / trains hard and is a good bloke so they all found a spot for him every week….

Sometimes - you have to actually be good a football as well.

See this is our problem. He is solid for us, he isn’t a standout for us on any side of the fence and he wouldn’t make it in the top 17 for a serious team.

I have never seen a prop his size and body shape get pushed backwards more than Twal does. Sure his defence is solid but thats it. The rest of his game isn’t good.

His style of play is more suited to a lock but he isn’t built to be a lock atm. His style of play just isn’t cutting it as a prop & hasn’t for a while.

Bench prop at best - even then, that’s only if we’re stacked full of impact off the bench, then he can be carried…

Outside that, he’s ressies captain

No idea @Geo , but there is no point playing him for 20 minute cameos.

His strength is his consistency in output over a long stint and the fact that he sticks, even if he doesn't sting. Honestly I can't drop any reasonable defenders given our recent history, but if he is playing minutes 60-80 we are better off trying someone else.

I think that if beefed up his tackling style a bit to become a bit more intimidating, then with his motor he be a great starting prop.
