OOPS , She's vegeterian  tiger

Pickle burger then

Considering the pickles are what everyone throws away, she would only be left with 2 buns!

Maccas needs more vegetarian options, besides the boring, overpriced salads. They should get a vegie burger happening like the one Hungry Jacks has - it's bloody beautiful! Perhaps you could put this idea forward to the big wigs at McDonalds, Happy?

They stick to the ceiling rather well - Ah those were the days!

That reminds me of a story from my youth. Nothing to do with christmas so completely off topic but here goes anyway.
In school, in an art class when I was about 12 I used to sit at a work bench next to this kid, Jim. I didn't know him well. He wasn't in any of my other classes and he didn't talk much. We had a major project we were supposed to do for end of year assessment. I toiled away at making a dragon out of clay. Jim just seemed to sit there and fiddle with bits of coloured wool and pots of paint but there never appeared to be anything made by it. I think this went on for a week or so. On the final day we were supposed to have our projects in front of us on the bench. My little dragon was there but nothing in front of Jim. The teacher came around making all the right noises about kids artwork till she got to Jim. She asked him where his project was. He smiled and pointed at the ceiling. There was an amazing colour spectacle of splatted paint with multicoloured stalactites of wool hanging from the high (old school) ceiling. I thought it looked amazing. The teacher didn't. He failed and got in trouble. He probably makes millions doing art installations somewhere now.

Now that's a creative mind! Pity the teacher couldn't see the artistic talent within and was only worried about the mess on the ceiling, but that's the way it was in those days. In schools today, the kid would probably be lauded for his imagination.

Thanks for the recommendations on the US everyone !
I wish I was super rich I'd like to bring back a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda ( muscle car ) .
In my dreams lol

Sorry Flip , but I don't actually work for Maccas (yet  )

My cousin owns 2 franchises in Cairns and Atherton though

I'd love to go to America one day

The annoying thing is there are way too many Americans living in America

Any chance they will all leave if I go over ??

Pudding or Panettone for Christmas Peeps ?
How people eat Christmas Pudding is beyond me , have a pommy mate that all he goes on about is the Yorkshire Pudding in Christmas :nerd: .
I tell you what very rarely do we buy groceries at Aldi , Mrs has more patience than me in there , i never go there . You need to be a good wicket keeper at the checkout  , you find yourself screaming at the kids "give me BAGS " , anyway the one thing Aldi have that is beautiful is there Panettone

This will be my baby girl's first Christmas. She'll only be just over 3 months old so the mrs & I will probably be more excited than her but just looking forward to making some family memories.

Oh & hopefully there'll be a new Tigers jersey in the stocking for me!

Congratulations to you and mum. What a wonderful Xmas present. Enjoy your little treasure raven. Merry Xmas !

Thanks Tigermama. Sounds like you have a great trip planned in the Himalayas. My mrs is from Peru & we went on a few treks through the Andes a couple of years ago. Some of the best scenery I've ever seen. You will have a ball!

Very appropriate that you're doing some high altitude training in the preseason too

Tracking in the Andes would be awesome Raven. Would love to do it one day

I felt the same before I went Happy… but I must say American's in America are some of the nicest people you'll meet....Even in LA we had a bloke go out of his way to help us with directions when we were totally lost on the way to Universal Studios...explaining which line to catch and which to avoid,,,went 4 stops past his exit just to make sure we found our way

They have a fondness for Aussie's too...We were there just after Steve Irwin died and they all thought we new him like he was a family member...

It's the American tourist that give them a bum rap...

Oops sorry Happy, I only scanned the thread before commenting. I was sure it was said somewhere that you ran a Maccas franchise. I'll have to re-read it properly

Couldn't agree more, Geo. The yanks are probably the friendliest and most hospitable people I've ever met.

Agreed ! They're the most social and easily the friendliest people, when visiting their country. They expect their tips but so would you when your 35 and earning $12 an hour.

America is awesome ! Especially Vegas, what a place (for a 21 year old and his mates)
