Not sure about AD, Hal. I assume that he's
getting consultation on the course of action
he's going to take on the troublesome knee.
I partially agree about the media ban, but
am happy with players fronting up and
owning the performances too. Just thought
I would post it up if anyone was interested

Of course K, but sometimes it’s just better to deliver, then discuss, rather than the other way around.
Don’t deny owning the performance but haven’t our issues been through the wringer enough ?
I don’t know if there’s a right or wrong answer , just putting it out there.

I dont think media bans exist anymore....its a business in itself "NRLMedia", they wouldnt be too happy in us not doing our bit

Of course and it’s a business for the individual player. It’s how they build their brand and increase their value both in and outside the cap. Also for life after footy. Coaching, media, public speaking etc.

I haven’t seen the segment yet but Api is also our captain so he probably wants to be on the front foot to lead the boys through the tough times. It’s a tough gig.

Well ink, maybe nominate one person to represent the club at all media calls. Eg using Brooks would ensure that nobody turned up to listen to his repeated mumblings( would be the next best thing to a media ban).🤣
 
I would be asking Api if he wants to move to 7 long term tbh. Think he could be a top class halfback with some time training there. Could very well extend his career as well. Would only do it though if he wants it - no point putting our only actual top line player out of joint. We have a lot more talent in the hooker position and you'd think we'd be a good shot at signing Marshall-King if we wanted too as well...

Not perfect but feel it's the beginnings of a proper spine. If Da Silva over takes Simpkin, happy days. Da Silva is 18 and Marshall King 27 so feel like perfect age gap in terms of transitioning to him next too.

What are you on champ? Marshall-King just resigned with the Dolphins. There would be more chance of the Dolphins signing Benji Marshall than us getting Marshall-King.

Recruitment? Far out our recruitment has been awesome. Were wooden spooners and still getting top shelf talent.

Ah, you’re right. Didn’t see he extended. Still reckon Api is the best 7 we could get. Otherwise it’s looking like Sezer or Lam which is….what it is…

Probably should've said retention rather than recruitmemt... We had the chance to be rid of Brooks..... Cest la vie
