Good ol' Cochise ripped into me when he read something he didn't appreciate, but that's how he operates [by overreacting].
In support of my post that started all this outpouring of emotion in support of the joint venture I state...I never said I was against the JV and I never said I was against having the Tiger as our emblem.
In fact, I have referred to 'Our West's Tigers' in many previous posts.
In one of my earliest posts though [only a few months ago], I reminded someone? the name of our Club was West's Tigers after he/she referred to us as 'The Tigers'.
You are certainly correct re "the lack of recognition that Wests are part of the JV", my feelings exactly.
The only thing that I have asked for is that Campbelltown is 'seriously' considered as Our home ground, as it just makes sense.
We move into a new and exciting, rapidly expanding part of Sydney.
At the moment We are stuck in a Very congested part of Sydney and Need to relocate to Campbelltown otherwise we may find ourselves being relocated to somewhere worse.
Again I agree with you diedpretty. Leichhardt Oval is no longer suitable as Our home ground as quite simply it will not hold the massive increase in Our fans attending Our games in the very near future and it needs too many $$$ spent on it to bring it up an acceptable standard.
